Genuinely, nothing has pissed me off like the way the TADC fandom as a whole is behaving like a summer camp full of big mouthed, privileged, spoiled, Veruca Salt-level entitled petulant little actual first graders, and I only started watching the show the day before ep 9 dropped. Which says A LOT (and by a lot, I mean YOU DON’T GET HOW SPECIAL this level of anger is for me, because not only have I been in one of the worst bouts of anhedonia any of my doctors have ever seen for over a year now, I have had people actually try to kill me for being queer, and I spent an entire year going across the state giving a speech on it and just how upset it made me, and that’s just ONE thing. I haven’t been “on” social media as a whole in over a year due to extreme health conditions that left me so bedbound and exhausted I could only leave my house once a week, and THIS of all things brought me out of that little online reclusion) about how genuinely fucking repugnantly, repulsively deplorable some of you people who claim to be “allies” truly make me feel of you. I have NEVER interacted with a group of people so performative, so idiotic, dunce cap-flaunting, self-entitled, moral superiority savior complex-type, illiterate (not just media literacy, not just functional literacy- actual TODDLER level literacy), transphobic, transmisogynistic, devoid of nuance, myopic, façade of progressivism-wearing, chronically online in EVERY worst sense of the term (as someone who was almost as chronically online for actual years), pugnacious, pertinacious, slimy, caustically corrosive, acid-spitting, fallacy-fellating, or unrightly self-righteous as this one. Truly, I have to thank you guys. I do. Not even smug or sarcastically about it- I’m being completely sincere in thanking you guys. 100%. Because you’ve legitimately helped me see something I wasn’t considering, and you made it very easy for me and EVERYONE else to see too- how blatantly, unabashedly, flagrantly obvious how truly, completely disconnected you really are from actual transfem people and how much you truly just do not EVER actually at all speak to any of us in ANY space. Seriously this has, unfortunately, helped me understand the shit black people for example actually have to put up with in regards to white savior complex-having, praise sponge egregores CONSTANTLY speaking for them without EVER actually seeing what they think about it, it’s fucking unreal. What happened to all of you. For reals. Who made you like this.

Friendly reminder to everyone that *headcanons* are not the person's view on the canon media! A character headcanoned as gay isn't heterophobic, so a character headcanoned as cis isn't transphobic. People can headcanon what they want, it's not hurting you or the media :)

honestly jax being transfem is really important to her character and has been hinted at and makes thematical sense sm i still remember that one post practicly piling all the hints and evidence and it's SO big you could scroll through it

Think about it like this. Let's say you had a friend who you were really close with, where the fact that you were "both dudes" felt really important to your bond. Maybe you saw yourself in this friend, and that felt affirming to your manhood.
