Her sigh told Gaara that the idea did not appeal to Ame, but on this, he would not budge. There was plenty of room for compromise into what tasks she actually took on, but Gaara would not fall prey to the idea that having âsecret shinobiâ was all right. However tempting the idea (especially given his councilsâ continued distrust), he would not make things worse by keeping secrets.
Gaara did appreciate her honesty, though. In his opinion, it was easier to find a compromise that would benefit the both of them if he knew what parts of the assignment Ame did not like, and what parts he could work with.
And she did have valid concerns. It seemed that she worried about what a rank and registration could potentially mean â and Gaara did understand that.
Sinking back in his chair, Gaara considered what Ame wanted, and what he wanted. She seemed to be concerned with the need for flexibility, with a need to stay apart from others. Even ANBU would not give her what she wanted, and Gaara was hesitant to suggest it anyway. ANBU only accepted volunteers for a reason.
At last he said, thoughtfully, âThen, if that is the case⌠How would you feel about becoming one of my personal guards?â
It would keep her close while he sounded the girl out and made sure she was truly interested in staying loyal, and it would keep her out of a team. Sheâd be allowed to work freely on her own (except those times that he traveled, as he always brought two guards with him), and he could entrust higher level missions to her.
"My sister is often away, as an ambassador of Suna," he explained, pale eyes level on Ameâs face. "It would alleviate the necessity of suspending her diplomatic missions whenever I must travel, as well as ensure that I always have a guard in attendance."
Sheâd trade on and off with Kankurou, which left plenty of time for Ame to take other missions, should she so desire. And, because she had worked for his father, Gaara knew that the girl could prove to have valuable insights in the day-to-day running of Suna.
The offer startled her. In brief retrospect it was the most intelligent solution to the problem at hand but at the moment it was offered, it was met with surprise. She had only been within the village two years, and he knew very little about her. Offering her such a close position seemed at first, unreasonable.
But as she thought on it, mind working quickly, Ame found herself admitting to the intelligence of such a move. She would be kept in close proximity, easy to observe, and unless she was in some way lying about her abilities she would become a great asset. At the same time, her requests would be met and she would still become a "legal" shinobi. It was smart.
Besides, she found herself thinking as the Kazekage finished speaking, it was not as if she minded this man's company in the least.
"...I accept." she agreed after a moment to finish sorting through her thoughts. "What will you have me do now, Kazekage-dono?"
This was not how she'd expected her day to go but she wouldn't complain. She got to remain in her home, doing what she was good at, and for the most part carry on life as usual.
Except for this small snare where she'd have to get registered. That would be a pain.

She was by no intention her's. Not in relation, not in duty, not in anything. In the same way she did not belong to Senritsu, Senritsu certainly did not belong to her.
Nonetheless, despite herself, Ame often found that after a time the attention of others became... irksome.
It wasn't the way Senritsu spoke to them, because she always wore that sugar sweet mask around others that Ame had begun chipping away at. And it wasn't how she acted either because that was as fake as her smile. If she had to pinpoint one thing about it that bothered her, perhaps it was sometimes the fact that she seemed more interested in others than in her.
It seemed stupid, when Ame actually thought about it. She had never cared if Senritsu's attention was on her or not, but as their bond grew stronger she found herself...
...growing possessive. To a degree. Almost the way Sasori grew over Deidara at times.
Not that it was ever difficult to remedy the situation. There was after all, something Ame had that others did not.
"Senritsu." she would call, just her name, just loud enough to be heard.
Senritsu would look up, bid whoever she was talking to farewell, and come trotting back over.
"J'yes Adagio?"
"Sweet talking is good and all, but we have a mission to attend. Can't it wait?"
"Adagio, I was getting information! J'you're growing impatient! Too much time around Sasori-senpai!"

Send me a ⢠to learn how my muse would show possessiveness over yours
She's not good at  s h a r i n g.
Nothing has ever really been  h e r ' s and so the concept of allowing others near what little is eats her alive inside like some kind of parasite. Like much else in her life, she bears it, she lets it eat her and she never says a word. The thoughts that run through her head have no need or being known by anyone but herself.
But sometimes.
             S o m e t i m e s.Â
There's only so many times she can bite her lip and gnaw her cheeks and erase what is festering inside her. Now is not one of those times.
She walks to him with her back straight and her head high and when her hand falls against his elbow he looks up and the conversation he was having stops. One of the women in the group he was speaking to looks at her, her eyes flash, she's annoyed that attention has been drawn from her but that's hardly the extent of what Ame intends.
The assassin tilts her head up and she leans just enough that her mouth brushes his ear when she whispers to him, drawing more of his attention away. She says something innocuous, unimportant, it probably didn't need to be whispered but she doesn't care. He smiles, and her lips quirk up because she got what she wanted.
The woman is glowering at her and Ame almost wants to laugh at her.
Did she really think that she could steal his attention? Oh Larisa had tried, time and again, but if there was one thing Ame was sure of it was that whenever she was around, the only one Scepan would look at was her.
Is Ame shadow controlling ability alike to the Nara clans? If faced with any of the Nara members eg; Shikamaru, how would the battle play out? Did the kitsunes teach the Nara the ability years and years ago? If not how would Ame react to the shadow ability?
⼠⌠⣠â â |:| Holy well thought out questions Batman--
Is Ame shadow controlling ability alike to the Nara clans?
If it bears any likeness, then it's within the mere nature of what they control; shadows. While Nara techniques necessitate the use of your own shadow in conjunction to another's, Ame's abilities allow her to control any shadow. (Distance and line of sight do play into this as well.) Nara techniques also base themselves largely around restriction and capture while Ame's ability is more to "manifest shadows" if that makes any sense. She can use them as both defense and attack.
If faced with any of the Nara members eg; Shikamaru, how would the battle play out?
Honestly? No idea. Probably depends on when / where they met. Ame's ability versus Shikamaru's would likely be less a battle of shadow vs. shadow and more strategy vs. strategy. On the one hand, Ame's ability would almost nullify Shikamaru's in some ways. On the other, if she were to attack with her own shadows that would run the risk of giving him a chance to take control of them. Ultimately? I think they'd probably both revert to hand to hand.
Did the kitsunes teach the Nara the ability years and years ago?
That is... Not actually something I'd ever thought about, now that you mention it. I suppose it may be possible? Or that in the past the Nara saw what the kitsune were capable of and thought to adapt a technique off of it. (If there's any Shikamaru who might wanna explore that plotline, send me an ask like seriously.)
If not how would Ame react to the shadow ability?
Well she's seen it before. She wasn't particularly shocked, it's a human jutsu that controls shadows that's not exactly 100% uncommon (though the Nara are the most sophisticated by far). Her honest thoughts were that while she was not personally impressed, should she ever have to fight him it may become problematic.

â - What are 5 writing tips youâd give to beginners?
⼠⌠⣠â â |:| Oh boy okay I'm terrible at advice but here goes--
Do not stress yourself. Writing is a matter of the mind and if you're getting stressed over what you can and cannot write you're not going to produce anything worth reading. Writer's block is a pain in the ass but it's different every time you get it-- Sometimes you can power through it, sometimes you can't. If you can't; don't feel bad. It's okay, take a break.
Learn from others. There is no shame in picking up words, phrases, habits, styling, or methods from other writers. Just like anything, copying someone else to the letter isn't very fair to them, but learning from them is alright! Writing styles grow and change over time, that's a good thing.
Learn the rules before you break them. Literature has been developed over the years off of the backs of people who said okay but what if I said fuck this rule of writing. That's another good thing. But like anything; you gotta know the rules to break them. Study grammar and spelling, make sure you know how to use the words you're learning. Then you fuck them up.
Focus!! If you have trouble writing romance, then focus on getting better at it! If you aren't so great a fight scenes, go find some to read and work on that! Playing to your strengths is good but so is working on bettering your weaknesses.
Have. Fun. I personally don't find there to be any point in writing if you don't enjoy it. Why bother? So make sure you're writing things you enjoy and that will make you happy.

"She doesnât know of me. Yet." Hisoka also spoke of the truth, more or less the truth soaked within the âyetâ part. She didnât know if Hai was aware of being tracked at the time, or any past occurrences. "I am merely her cousin, if that happens to satisfy you. Do you happen to know of her history?"
The chance of the other knowing was bleak, and even if they knew. it was likely they wouldnât bother giving it away to someone like her with a transient claim of blood relatance. âI only want to see her, and see who she has become.â Then if wished by Hai, Hisoka would drift again into the night, trying to cling onto what family she had left.Â
"Do IÂ look like I give a damn where she comes from?"Â Do you know her history? Of course she didn't. She didn't care either. The Akatsuki did not employ people because they had tragic backgrounds they employed them because they could do what they were told, and do it efficiently.
So far this little snag was proving more irksome than helpful.
"Look, she's working at the moment." Come back later she wanted to say, but honestly, she wasn't too sure the swordswoman was going to survive this. "You're a bit late for an appointment."
â ââââ They wouldnât dare come here. First thingâs first. Its going to be winter soon. If they were brain-dead enough to strike us at winter when snow will fall over my lands like no month otherâŚthen they may be my guest. Though I am not gonna be held responsible for when they freeze out here or if they get captured. You have little to worry about.âÂ
Scepan was a man who loved to reassure people. If a loved one, comfort them too. In this case heâs accompanying both as he speaks and bids her his words. âââââDonât tell me youâre scared of a little Japanese government.â Never did he cease his way of suddenly changing his tone in a more positive way.
âââââThe day you die will be the day I leave you vulnerable. When I die.â
She didn't particularly need his reassurances, she knew all that he'd said already. Nonetheless... Ame sighed softly, choosing to let the conversation drop with a final word from her.
"I just don't understand why you take such unnecessary risks when they are easily avoided. Wouldn't it be best if I were to remain our of the public eye, hidden rather than displayed?"
What benefit was there to her existence being known? Being seen with her could not be that important to Scepan, surely.
The son of Akasuna no Sasori and Ame Kurotsuki.Â
Anri has a quiet disposition much like his parents. Around those he knows he is considerably more talkative, especially with his parents who he has a particular affection for conversing with. If necessary to interact with people he either does not know or trust, Anri becomes deceptively charming and polite, which generally masks the fact that he doesn't like you at all.
More than his father's emotionlessness, Anri inherited his mother's ability to feign emotion. Unless you know him well it's often difficult to tell what he's thinking or feeling.
Anri has his father's talent for puppetry and fondness for poisons. His preferred line of work is assassination, another talent he's picked up from both sides of his parentage.Â

Sasuke Uchiha and Ame Kurotsuki's eldest child and only daughter. Mikoto takes more after her uncle Itachi than her father, bearing a similar personality to him. She's often impassive and quiet but despite this, it's very obvious she cares for her family.
Mikoto has a tendency to be hard on her brothers, mostly out of worry. When it comes to her father she's probably the most obedient out of her siblings, and the one who most clearly admires him. Despite having great leader skills, Mikoto often prefers to follow her parent's lead.

The middle child. If one knows either Riki's uncle or father, they will find absolutely no resemblance between them and him. Outgoing and charming, Riki bears all the personality traits of a flirtatious, easy-going teenage boy. Often seeming unbothered by almost everything around him, he doesn't give off the "Uchiha" vibe at all.
Underneath that jovial exterior however, Riki is considerably different. Quite literally a genius, he has a tendency to hide the limits of his capabilities, even from his parents. He has a preference for altering jutsu to fit his fighting style and needs, and has a fondness for lightning techniques like the chidori.Â
Unbeknownst to most besides his siblings, Riki's sharingan is much more advanced than his older sister's.

Kitsune
The youngest child. Yasuo is more than quiet; if one doesn't know him, he's often mistaken for mute. This isn't anything wrong with him or birthed from some childhood trauma, he simply prefers not to speak most times. His siblings have grown used to this and generally convey things for him.
Observant and often overlooked because of his silence, Yasuo is perhaps the most dangerous of his siblings. He takes purely after his mother, using the kitsune fighting style rather than anything like a classic shinobi. He's generally very amicable and even kind, but if he feels his family is threatened he becomes incredibly violent.
For the most part Yasuo comes off as a quiet, shy boy who would rather hide behind his siblings or father than face interactions on his own. This is half the case. The other half is that he's generally observing to assess whether or not he's going to kill you.
