Mutation AU. Re4 remake.

Here is my loose plan for how this goes down, as I was pretty vague in the original post.

Leon is, for whatever reason, mutating rapidly even though his plaga is not yet fully grown. In ADDITION to that, Luis decides to hand the Amber to Leon for safekeeping after he comes clean on the elevator.

Krauser shows up, stabs him, can't find the Amber, and Luis feeds him some bullshit about stashing it somewhere else, so Krauser leaves without a fight. Leon tries to glue Luis back together with first aid spray, but Luis already lost too much blood and is tachycardic.

Leon, in a desperate move, injects the Amber INTO Luis, re-infecting him. He can only hope Luis will forgive him.

Luis experiences a few mutations too, but the bottom line is that if they can't get to the lab in time to remove the plaga from Luis, Leon and Ashley are dead anyway.

The plan is still to remove the plaga from Leon, which for some reason or another is still possible without killing him. The mutations revert SOMEWHAT, but not completely. He's keeping the claws and fangs for the rest of his life, probably, and the chitin carapace sheds but the scales regrow smaller and smoother.

Unfortunately, this means the government still has a fairly effective leash on him since protecting him gives them additional leverage. (He can pass for human as long as he covers up everything below his neck, oops).

More Devil Leon doodles.

The one of the left is him being bummed about how about how short his fights now are. Demons LOVE to fight, so Leon has started to develop a thrill for battle, but he's so strong now that nothing is a challenge for him anymore.

It's frustrating because he knows he SHOULD be happy now that his fights are over so quickly, it means there are less chances for people to get hurt, yet he STILL can't help but feel disappointed every time it happens.

THEN THE DOODLE ON THE RIGHT- Leon got his demonic powers from a parasitic demon, meaning it's main source of food was blood. That ALSO means that if Leon exhaust's his powers he can drink some human blood to replenish his energy.

The first time he Devil Triggered this happened. Leon couldn't figure out how to deactivate his transformation, so he only returned to normal after he ran out of energy. Of course that meant he was friggin exhausted and delirious after, and so instinctively grabbed Luis and started to lick the blood weeping from his shoulder wound.
