Hello? You still alive in there???

Yes yes, hello I'm alive! somehow!

I know I've been MIA when it comes to my fic and a lot of things recently, I'm gonna use this as an opportunity to talk about all that.

A lot of you are probably wondering where chapter 18 is, especially since I promised it back in March and it is now July. I have been very busy lately with a lot of personal stuff like work and friends birthdays and general personal life things, I'll get serious for a sec just to mention the fact that my mental health has not been in a good place recently, for a while now really, and that has greatly affected my ability to work on this fic. This next chapter is a very big deal to me and I've been stuck wanting it to be perfect but being too scared to work on it and every time I do getting a massive wave of dread, which is not good, obviously.

I wanted to bring this up in the notes of next chapter but lord knows when that will go up so I'll say it here.

I'm no longer going to try and keep up with a steady writing/upload schedule. I haven't been able to keep up with it for a while and every time I fail on a deadline it makes me feel horrible. This does not mean I'm gonna stop working on the fic, I think you'd have to kill me to get me to stop. It just means that I'm no longer gonna set expectations for when the next chapter will be out. I know that's probably disappointing to hear, and believe me I want to keep working on this fic, I love it so much. I just think until I can get my mental health in check, I'm not gonna set those expectations. Not until I get into therapy and get medicated, which is something I'm working on. I thank you all so much for your patience, and I'm sorry for the amount of times I've fallen through on my promises for a chapter's release.
