G O D E A T E R

    She sighed. As hard headed as she could be, she would let him test his rest then...      ‘ Fine. I just hate being out here any longer than we have to. The faster we get done and get back to base is when you can rest. ‘

    ‘ Whaaaat? Don’t be silly, of course it’s clean! ‘ She was lying through her teeth but she would simply slide off whatever teasing remark Blaire could muster. Sadly she couldn’t be arsed to do it but when she opened the door to Blaires room, she would rush to the bed and quickly wrap the blanket of her bed around her and give the other girl a cheerful grin. 

     ‘ Uh... Yours. ‘ She didn’t think her own would be doable. It was a damn mess that she absolutely refused to clean up. Taking Blaire by the hand, she would make way to said room. 

    Alisa was about to answer but he was gone before even one word could be muttered. Typical. She would instead opt to find a place to sit so she’d at least be comfortable while watching... again whatever this show was.

    ‘ Sure! ‘ Well this certainly did sound like it would be entertaining to say the very least. Clapping both hands at her front, she would take the opportunity for what it was. The least amount of time they spent contemplating options the better. ‘ After I think we could just lay back and listen to some music. I got plenty to pick from in my room I think you’d like. ‘ 

     ‘ I suppose. ‘ Alisa would set her book down after leaving a mark on the page for her to return to later. Not to say she wasn’t giving Blaire a small yet sheepish smile because she was. ‘ What sounds good to you? ‘

     ‘ Watch what... with the what...? ‘ Sorry, you’ve left her at a loss. She doesn’t understand his lingo.

    And here you have Alisa trying to read her book. Sigh. ‘ Just what do you want for me to do about it? ‘

     The gift in her friends hands had made Alisa question what it was for however when offered to her before she could speak did she get that answer. ‘ F-for me? ‘ Carefully she took the box and placed it upon her lap where she would examine the rather careful work that went into wrapping it - Minus the few dents along the edges but that was neither here nor there. - she’d start with the side and cut into the paper with her nail and easily tear it back till she saw what was inside. A comb and chocolates but what really had her attention was that comb. It made the God Eater smile as she took it between both hands but when slightly pulled apart did the blade pop out and startle her, she almost dropped it but she’d close it and put it down just to smile afterwards.     Placing the box to the side of her she would stand from her chair and hug Blair with every intention of squeezing the breath out of her. ‘ Thank you for this, Blaire. ‘ She’d whisper before kissing her cheek and grabbing the box she kept next to her chair and handing it over to her. ‘ This is for you. ‘ A present for Blaire wasn’t hard either, she knew the woman liked combat knives so she had gotten her a small collection of hunting knives. All of them seemingly new and all of them baring the same marking as her facial tattoo along the blade. She had them custom made just for her and had it wrapped up in a more christmas colored paper.      ‘ Merry Christmas! ‘ / @huntercollective
