i started this piece around the time the doors halloween update dropped when i realised that now everyone in the trio has some sort of animal companion that could annoy them

exr-ps pet is named jordi as a little reference to the deep sea bunnys scientific name – profundus jorunna parva

johns pet is named joey because thats doombringers canonical nickname, and because john is bad at giving names

as for the dynamics - i havent fully fleshed out the type of dynamic the trio has with each other, so everything i say can be subject to change

so far i can only describe their relationship as a bit more platonically intimate than with john, because exr-p and visitor have known each other for longer than they have known him

(orange text refers to visitor and blue text refers to exr-p)

at first visitor and exr-p werent friendly with each other at all, with visitor constantly trying to make exr-p open up through small talk and exr-p shutting down their every opportunity to do so

after exr-p realized that they were basically stuck with visitor for an indefinite amount of time, and that visitor was genuinely trying to become friends, they slowly started to tolerate their presence more, and sometimes even initiated a bit of the small talk themself

this eventually (albeit slowly) led to them forming a pretty strong friendship, with visitor providing the emotional support (eg. physical comfort and words of encouragement) and exr-p providing the rational thinking (eg. resolving problems and analyzing their current circumstances) in their relationship

if i really had to describe their dynamic in a few words it would probably be "gets them in trouble(visitor)" and "gets them out of trouble(exr-p)"

Pfft-, i dont think seek would call visitor "babygirl" anyways, he really wants them dead

John hoarded all of the ammo to himself and when he ran out of it he started ripping the revenants apart with his bare hands, exr-p kept complaining about everything and tried their best not to lose their mind, and visitor laughed their ass off watching the other two bicker like children

(john and visitor are thinking of finding exr-p a therapist)

(yes i started playing hades 2 now aswell, peak game imo)

(btw i promise im gonna post hades art again at some point i just need to get this hyperfixation out of my brain and get through my exams to do that)

(im not in the fandom btw i just liked the story)
