TIL these fancy scarves that you see sold everywhere are actually part of a rich tradition. The guilds pass these simple strips of fabric from teacher to student across generations. Although the ones you see in the streets are often covered with generic patterns or symbols of specific patrons the cloths are usually detailed with prayers and symbols that are added to by each generation of skilled person.

The humans tried to honor the three sisters by implementing their knowledge and eventually impressed them so that each sister took seven consorts and they enlisted a human to guard their sanctuary.

Breakfast at the hotel vs breakfast at the diner. Both delicious takes on dti ehk, sweet rice with egg baked in a thin pastry shell. The diner adds rofi ge, a sweet pickled pepper with a kick.

The streets and markets are barren but I'm happy to stay in my hotel room. The view from the balcony is incredible and I've started painting again.
