The flashing lights and the strong bass from the club speakers were of little help in keeping him in his five senses. Every single rumble of the beat in his ears was inducing him into a trance, difficult not to fall into. And as much as he wanted to ask his friends if they were witnessing the same thing, he found himself too drawn to the imposing presence of your body from the other side of the room to even move.

His growing necessity to reach out for you manifested in a burning sensation in his throat. A thirst that made him want to drink from you. He did not know exactly what he wanted from you. He did not think about the nonsense of his increasing desire. He just knew he needed you to satiate it.

The chorus of the song hit the room with a force that made Vernon nearly stumble forward. Yet, he did not take his eyes off of you. When your hands started to wander all over your body, his eyes followed.

He was so fixed on you; he noticed every detail. The sweat on your skin, your slightly messed-up hair, and your lipstick smudged a little. He was so focused on exanimating you whole that he did not even notice when you started walking towards him, or when he started walking towards you.

You two walked into the dark. Vernon felt his fingertips charged with electricity, anticipating the moment you would meet in the middle of the dance floor.

All the inhibitions he normally had were gone when he finally could lay his hands on you. His first instinct was to grab your hips tightly to pull you close, to which you chuckled, cocky. You put your hands over his shoulders, caressing the nape of his neck. He guided your moves.

Even if his grip was firm, he led you slowly at first, not testing the waters, but wanting to memorize every curve and the feeling of your body against his.

You pressed against him closer and closer. Vernon remained spellbound the second your lips met his neck. Kissing, sucking, biting. A thick drop of warm liquid ran down to his collarbones; you licked it, gathering it all on the tip of your tongue.

His gentle guiding hands stopped being all soft. His hold on your hips became rough as they travelled lower. The smugness in your smile grew to absolute arrogance once he squeezed your ass greedily. Looking into your eyes, Vernon spotted the fervent carmine highlights. Then you kissed him, crashed your lips on his.

The metallic taste flooded his mouth like an overflowed river. It was all tongue, teeth, and spit, and that warm ferrous liquid dozing him in and out of the trance until he no longer knew where he was. Where did you bring him? He did pay any mind; he was more than willing to go to heaven with you. Or to hell. It did not matter, as long as it was you who led the way.
