In Borges' eponymous work, "Aleph" is a small sphere with a diameter of two or three centimeters, yet it contains the entire universe. Analogously, Aleph can be modeled as a zero-dimensional singularity.But Aleph can also be a one-dimensional lifeline that never returns on the path to the transfinite, a two-dimensional digital avatar in a game, a three-dimensional prisoner in Comala Prison, or even a four-dimensional consciousness amid countless quarrelling fragments of space-time.Then, would the formation of Aleph be a cosmic explosion, and would its collapse create a black hole from which there is no escape?
