(The Beautiful Era: Kiss from a Rose)

Fitting I finished it today, on my anniversary with Rosemary; who goes by Rosie but I’ve always called Rose. Of course I make every piece for her, in a way. They’re my labors of love and she is my beloved.

This Antique Bronze Metal Stained Glass Lantern features a bronze finish with cut-out details, Pink Streaky Opal Glass and one Purple Streaky Stipple glass Mackintosh Roses surrounded in Purple rough-rolled glass with a hinged door on the front accented with a heart charm. Illuminated with a vintage

style led bulb in a candelabra base socket using 5W and producing a 300 lumen beautiful soft glow.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Vincent Van Gogh are artistic heroes of mine. When I was asked to make a line of jewelry/trinket/card boxes for a bookstore I could think of no greater inspiration than two of the greats in paint and design.

I stained the box golden oak. I used a gorgeous piece of Violet/Lavender Van Gogh glass in the bottom and for the panel I used Pink Champagne rough-rolled glass to offset a Charles René Mackintosh rose design which I did in Pink Tiffany reproduction glass.

A beautiful homage to Victorian Era artists adorning your nightstand, dresser or your favorite space.

As with all of my art, it’s meant to remind you that you are beautiful and that you deserve that beauty reflected around your home.

The interior dimensions are 5 5/8” W x 4” D x 1 5/8 H

It's the end of a beautiful day, the scent of the garden hangs sweet in the air, memories of old friends brings a smile to your face as you relax and wind down your day. Your own soft, pink sky sunset awaits to illuminate your favorite space with a soft comforting glow.

This Antique Bronze Metal Stained Glass Lantern features a bronze finish with cut-out details, Pink Streaky Opal Glass panels and a hinged door on the front with a heart charm. Illuminated with a vintage style led bulb in a candelabra base socket using 5W and producing a 300 lumen beautiful soft glow. The overall dimensions of the lamp are - Length: 4 3/8" Width: 4 3/8" Height: 10 1/ 2. As we approach Spring, I am daydreaming of flower gardens, sweet smells on the air and the calls of the birds in the trees. My heart is full of romance and new beginnings. I chose this beautiful Violet/Purple/Lavender streaky glass because it reminds me of Lilacs and an early Spring. I offer you my flower garden of light; lilac blossoms.
