I am very rarely on Tumblr these days. You really do need to figure out how to come to Discord and talk to (via DM) one of the people listed in the above post, if you want to try to work out whatever issue you were banned for.

It’s with great pride that I’m announcing the first iteration of the “A Better Sims 4″ save file!

I “fixed” the entire Sims 4. I went in and renovated every community lot in the Base Game, filled every empty lot with new homes and community lots, gave every sim a makeover and added over a hundred premade sims (who were created by EA but only available in the gallery)!

What’s included?

21 brand new lots

144 new households (totalling 198 new sims)

Renovated versions of every pre-existing residential/community lot

What are the requirements?

Get to Work EP, Seasons EP and Dine Out GP are necessary

If you don’t have all of these you will have naked/missing sims and missing lots!

Ever felt bored while playing the Sims? There are a vast number of options but nothing feels fun? Well, we have some news for YOU! Here’s yet another color-based legacy challenge for everyone to play! We worked really hard to come up with cooperative rules and guidelines for each generation, piecing them all together with a nice color theme that you can follow through however you wish! It’s no way perfect, and we might go back through things and tweak some stuff if people let us know about some issues. All Gens’ info is under the cut! Thanks for checking this out!

No cheats allowed! You may use the money cheat to build a starter home with the value of up to §35,000- start the gameplay with whatever’s left

Sims’ life span can be any speed—as long as they do everything the generation requires before death

Each generation has two options to choose from

You can pick one of the generation options—or you could play both on one sim! It’s up to you (:

Optional: Co-heirs do both options of the generation; siblings or roommates, but not spouses

Each generation’s options have a general color theme that vanilla and berry simmers can play with! If you’re doing both challenges in a single gen, you can mix the colors up!!

Each generation can be started as a teen if you’d like, but they must be no older than young adults to get the full experience (teens may have additional tasks, however).

You can start the legacy as occult sims but don’t have to focus on their specific skill-building

Each heir needs to have at least two kids unless specified differently

This challenge is written with the idea of all/most of the packs are included—if you don’t have the packs needed, you’re welcome to skip/ignore the things required and dub in a similar option

It ends at Generation 10, but you’re free to continue on with 11+ by going back and doing the other options you didn’t do OR making things up as you go! (Anyone is welcome to create an official Get A Life Continuation challenge, just let us know first!)

Berry Optional Rules: Marry a sim with the chosen next generations coloring; children can be a mix of both parents’ colors—heir must be primarily the next gen’s chosen color

Vanilla: clothes & house style; hair/eyes are optional

Banilla: a mix of both; generally colorful coloring and/or hair, with normal skin tones

Berry: hair, eyes, skin, clothes, house style, etc.

A lot has happened in 25 years, but some new faces in town are stirring up rivalries and creating tension for the once happy families. Can anything be done to get the neighborhood feeling good again?

1. Overview

Pleasantview 2020 is a savefile, where I recreated Pleasantview in The Sims 4. It includes three worlds, all the premade families as well as the iconic townies from The Sims 2 Pleasantview. 

Note that this is not a an exact replica of Pleasantview.  While everything is inspired by Pleasantview, I wanted to update everyone’s looks as well as the looks of the houses and community lots. All builds are built from scratch and they are not “makeovers” of any EA builds. I’d like to think this is what TS2 team would have done if Pleasantview had been released in 2020 with the packs that we have today. 

The save is CC free, BUT I had to include 1 cc package which contains some unlocked backdrop builds that were not in debug (they are now available in buy mode). This piece of CC is required because otherwise Pleasantview’s commercial district will not look as intended.

It was requested a looong time ago by @notannouncedyet, but I made graphics for the Not So Berry Extended Challenge. I looked over a few creator's renditions and settled on @neecxle 's. I chose hers because there weren't any mods required to complete the Generations.
