Es una cuestión un tanto difícil de explicar. Si bien hay personas que al igual que yo están interesadas en la Guerra Fría y más aún en la Unión de las Repúblicas Socialistas Soviéticas, estas personas siempre terminan teniendo una fascinación y romantización única y exclusiva de la RSFS de Rusia. Su visión de lo que la URSS se queda estancada solamente en una única república y a mi eso me incómoda muchísimo, ya que siento toda esta concentración solo en lo que fue la Rusia Soviética se ha convertido de alguna manera en otra arma propagandística como lo fue el mito del judeo-bolchevismo para denigrar las ambiciones del proletariado soviético.

Es cierto que no necesitas ser comunista para estar interesado en este país en concreto, pero dudo mucho que sea muy difícil leer e investigar un poco más para lograr entender que el concepto de los Soviets iba muchísimo más allá de solamente "rusos" y la cuestión que impulsaba el internacionalismo. Obviamente tampoco voy a intentar justificar las acciones erróneas que tuvo el comité central en sus repúblicas menos "conocidas", pero es que también está el tipo de gente que de alguna manera cree que estas acciones fueron continuas y masivas, o en situaciones específicas, intencionadas. Las cuestiones históricas de estos países ha acabado demasiado ligado a cuestiones políticas a causa de la Guerra Fría y la victoria de Estados Unidos sobre este, y es realmente difícil encontrar fuentes fiables.

Volviendo al tema, no digo que sea malo estar interesado en la RSFS de Rusia, ya que fue en este territorio que se libró la revolución que empezaría el primer concepto de país socialista de la historia, pero de verdad, Rusia no fue el único territorio de la URSS. Incluso peor aún, la parte europea no es la única Rusia que existe. Un país y territorio tan grande como lo fue la Unión Soviética, obviamente no fue monocultural.

4 months later, in September, when the war ended with the victory of Mongolia and the USSR, he returned home to his wife, Shonchalay Khovalyg, hating him real hard, but in the end they fixed things and lived kinda peacefully until June of 1941 when he heard about the German invasion in Ukraine. But then in 1943, 1 year after her daughter was born, he saw that their government was recruiting people to fight in the Soviet Cavalry in Ukraine, and again he went directly to it without telling his wife.

In 1944 when he was still in the front, he heard the news that Tannu Tuva became a Republic of the USSR and he was kinda happy about it because it was his father's dream when he moved to Tuva for his wife.

After the war ended, he returned home and his wife refused to talk to him for 6 months, but in 1946 they had another daughter.

The reason why Artyom was against marrying Tatyana in the beginning went beyond the fact that he did not like the idea of Tatyana forcing herself to join her life with him just to get legal and living facilities in the country, but also because Artyom saw marriage as a form of oppression created from barbarism to trap women into a life and prejudice that they can hardly escape. Artyom wanted so much more for Tatyana, so much more for anyone living under a system that leads them into a false life far removed from what they would truly wish to do and be. The journey of a life should not only involve marriage and children.

The relationship between Tatyana and Artyom was obviously not one of romance, although they loved each other platonically. They were just best friends. They would have done the impossible for the other. That's why Artyom ended up agreeing to marry Tatyana, because if he didn't, who would Tatyana turn to? An idiot who didn't respect her and who made her unhappy? Artyom knew that being married to him would also make her unhappy, but at least he hoped that this way Tatyana would have the respect she deserved and that she wouldn't have to do things she didn't wanted to. They could continue to have the dynamics they had, only with the inconvenience of being legally tied.

Although when they met in 1959, Artyom had an unrequited love with her, he overcame it a long time ago and his beliefs changed a lot since then. His beliefs about romance ceased to be so idealised and simplistic. He had grown as a thinker ever since.

She was born in a Polish town named Zamość. After WW2, her family moved to Hamburg. When she turned 19, she was recruited to work as a spy in the GDR. They made her a new identity; Anna Eisler, and she sneaked into the East and started working for the state. When her settled well, she started stealing information for the West. But in 1959, she discovered that her boss in the West and all the bureaucrats she's been working under for the last 5 years used to be former NSDAP members.

When that happened, she decided to now steal state secrets of the West to give it to the East. After that, she escaped to Kaliningrad before both sides discovered what she did. Her plan in Kaliningrad was to sneak into a ship to go to Leningrad and then take a train to Smidovichsky, but then she met someone and her plans changed.

After escaping, she russified her real name to Tatyana Dzerzhinsky.

No wonder no one else wanted to work on this case. Tyoma got up, taking his coat with him to leave the department and go discuss needing information about where this Mirza fellow lives.

It's funny when you think that my oc was born in Tannu Tuva, which the nearest coast is like 3.000km away. He just ended up doing his conscription in the Baltic sea.

Btw, I've been thinking about what can be Tatyana's backstory. Something like she used to be a spy for the FRG, but in some point she ended up doing something that led her to escape and that's how she ended up in Kaliningrad and met Artyom in 1960? I don't know. I just wanted to call her Tatyana because of a song of Pyotr Leshchenko. She's supposed to be Polish. I was thinking of giving her Dzierzynski/Dzerzhinsky as a surname.

I also thought that I wanted her to look like Anna German, but with short hair.
