I’ve been thinking about her a lot, so here she is! This is Sarah, my oldest character and probably my very first. I made her when I was eight years old, so she’s been a part of my life for 14 years. She’s seen many iterations and redesigns and revamps, and she’s still very dear to me. She used to be a hedgehog because I was really getting into Sonic when I was 8 and he used to be my favorite, so I was really unoriginal. Her original story was that she was his sister, and that stuck around for an embarrassingly long time. Now she’s a jumble of animals because of her story which I might write out in a different post, but I’m not quite confident in it yet. Really all anyone needs to know is she was born from a piece of chaos, and she has the ability to absorb things and powers (but they’re considerably weaker than the original), and she can also mimic appearances. Her wish to be a real moebian was granted by Tikal after an adventure where she was pulled apart, and her body became a mix of every person she’s imitated, so Knuckles’ locs, markings and some of his color (he was the first she mimicked), Amy’s body, Tails’ tail, and Blaze’s ears and muzzle. As for him, Knuckles feels a sense of responsibility for Sarah since she technically came from the master emerald, and her naturally trusting and naive nature reminds him of himself, so he wants to protect her because of his past experiences. Sarah is very attached to Knux, so they both live on Angel Island after she’s reborn.

I would like to note that this style isn’t trying to be close to the franchise style, so when she’s translated into it she looks a bit different.

I was very very inspired by the designs that G1NGERBRED and 8Xenon8 made of him, and you can really clearly see that in the design. I feel like I took too much inspiration from them though, so I want to make another pass at it soon so I can make it look more unique to myself. I think it’ll help if I push his shapes more.

I need to make some nicer, clean art of my human designs, but here’s the one I made for Vector that I’m pretty happy with :>

Vector is my second favorite character (second only to Knuckles), and I’m a sucker for characters that look super intimidating but are actually morons (even though Vector is actually one of the smartest people you could come across he’s still a silly guy) so I went all out with his design. I want to make a head to toe version soon but for now here’s the bust

Also, I’ve pretty much only been drawing Knuckles and my OC, maybe I’ll post some of that soon- I have a ref for my OC sitting around somewhere I think
