I hate how underrated of a character Dusekkar is, not even just in Forsaken, but in roblox admin spaces in general. Main reason I'm still in the hellhole of Forsaken is because its the only game I'm currently aware of that not only has Dusekkar/Matt Dusek in it, but also gives him a little bit of attention. Which isn't much but I'm taking crumbs at this point. (Side note, if you know any other games with Matt Dusek in it PLEASE TELL ME, thank you :D)

What small scraps we have of Dusekkar's lore is interesting (I'm definitely biased but shush). Ignoring the milestones for a second, Dusekkar helped Shedletsky make the Illumina and was there for Shedletsky at this lowest point, has ties to respawning and doesn't like Two Time cause he knows more about it than most, has to cope with having all of his power taken from him. A friend of mine pointed out that a part of Jane's document about Dusekkar could be read as Dusekkar having chronic illness coding (I'm not chronically ill so I'm not gonna say much on that but hey, something to look at maybe). Speaking of Jane's document, it reveals that Dusekkar is quite bold when he gets comfortable with others and that he prefers to keep his struggles to himself, likely not liking when others worry about how hes doing.

I might be missing some stuff but what I have mentioned just goes to show that he does have interesting concepts that I wish were expanded on more but everyone just ignores Dusekkar and it upsets me.

Then theres the milestones, which probably aren't canon cause Chrisaken contradicts some of it (milestones not being canon is a dumb decision I think but whatever, its canon in my heart). Dusekkar's milestones expand on his friendship and dynamic with Shedletsky, showing that he is willing to die for Shedletsky, also acting as a foil to Two Time, with Dusekkar using the power of the spawn to sacrifice himself for Shedletsky while Two time sacrificing Azure for their own gain and for their devotion to spawn. I really like his milestone lore, I think theres a lot of interesting conclusions that could be made of them. Unfortunately, I rarely see anyone even mention it.

Really the only thing I don't like about Dusekkar's lore is how much of it revolves around Shedletsky. As much as I LOVE Shedletsky x Dusekkar, I want Dusekkar to have his own character rather than being reduced to "Shedletsky's friend", but granted, people already do that with Dusekkar and Taph (no hate to Dusetaph shippers, I am sometimes one of you, I'm just tired of seeing Dusekkar be reduced to "Taph's friend/partner and translator" in some stuff).

Even though I'm not in the forsaken Fandom that much, I genuinely like their duo. It was actually what made me start liking them even outside of forsaken.

As a Forsaken fan myself (I haven't left yet because I promised myself I'd hold out until Doombringer released and if it was still ass, then oh well I'll just make an AU), I really, REALLY hate it when people just ignore Dusekkar's whole thing with Shedletsky just because of Builderman and Taph.

They have such a good dynamic and NOBODY ever talks about it! I have to do so much searching on AO3 to find something where they ever interact even a little! You'd expect there to be a lot of stuff about them cobsidering how popular Shedletsky is in the fandom, but nooooooo! DuseTaph and BuilderMon/BuilderShed supremacy I guess (personally I dislike both ships but that's just me).

I personally don't ship Shedletsky with Dusekkar because I prefer BrightSky, ChickenBurger, and DoomSekkar, but I can definitely see why someone might! There's a lot of content of friends to lovers and while I'm not super into that kind of thing, I do think it's a trope that makes sense.

One thing I've found that especially pisses me off in fanfiction (mostly, but I've found it on here as well) is when people have Dusekkar as a background character and then they turn his whole personality into being Taph's best friend/lover and translator. IT'S SO ANNOYING. And then poor Builderman gets turned into Shedletsky's side chick and Shedletsky himself gets reduced to a chicken-obsessed lousy swordfighter (which is pretty fucking dumb considered the literal Shedletsky isn't the biggest fan of chicken in the first place and in universe is canonically the champion of swordfighting).

So yeah. I like Forsaken but I have major gripes with how the community characterizes some of the characters. Also we need more Doombringer content. You'd expect him to be more popular considering he's an Admin character, but I guess not.

Also, YES doombringer is such an interesting character once you genuinely look into him. It's just lost potential, to be honest. Out of all the admins, I genuinely think doombringer and Matt are the most interesting, considering how easily you can make a story behind them.

Like don't get me wrong, they're an... okay-ish character, but personally I don't like them. They're just... not very interesting to me. At all. Also it gives everyone an excuse to use Doombringer and turn him into a total asshole who manipulated Taph (not sure about the lore on that but I've found that it's pretty stupid so like).

Like, the reason Doombringer's a killer is because he thinks Builderman is a lousy leader and wanted to do something about it, NOT because he manipulated Taph. Also I should mention that Jane Doe also shares this opinion because Builderman did basically nothing to help her find John Doe so like... I feel like if Doombringer wasn't a killer then the two would probably have a lot to talk about LOL.

ALSO YEAH. another thing abt the dev team and the Fandom itself is that they villianize some of these characters to lift others up.

Twisted sense of justice sure but like... Doombringers got so much else going for him like warden is cool yeh and i hc him to be the warden aswell but like... He was also a huge lore maker... Maybe that drive him insane or smth idk just like... All thr admins in my opinions are nothing burgers. Either thier a killer with "twisted views" or shedletskys friend. @the-best-sfoth-player no offense...

And yeah, it really feels like there's a lot of nothing when it comes to characters. I feel like the main problem is that the devs are playing favorites. 007n7 has an entire mountain of lore while characters like Dusekkar and Builderman are left behind. For the longest time, the only lore we had on Builderman was that he left the Banhammer in his office. We don't even know how he got taken to the realm of Forsaken yet (though that can be said about a lot of other characters).

I am NOT looking forward to the lore changes, but I'm hoping that characters who didn't get much representation get proper recognition.

And don't even get me started on the style changes. Why are they so adamant on 3D clothing all of a sudden!? It doesn't even fit the style of the game, and if you put all of the characters side-by-side, Jane and Two Time now look really out of place.

ANYWAYS. I actually really like the concept of Doombringer being a killer, but I feel like the whole "spectre's influence" being the sole reason for Doombringer thinking Builderman + the other Admins are corrupt is so fucking lazy.

Though, the nice part about some characters having ambiguous lore currently means that I can do whatever I want with it (until they inevitably add lore in 200 years...). So in my interpretation, Builderman is already turning into kind of an ass leader (as suggested by Jane's lore and the current state of IRL Roblox) and Doombringer sees that. He begins taking things into his own hands and starts believing the wrong things which eventually turns him against everyone altogether.

ALSO, does anyone else get frustrated whenever people keep calling matt dusek dusekkar? Then they proceed to say “not the forsaken character” when you’re literally calling him by the forsaken character’s name… The dusekkar is his pumpkin hat 😭😭😭
