hey pals ! so i know i’m late on this post because i just haven’t had much inspo to make anything lately but i received an anon asking for a more poc friendly psd so i figured why not do it and make it for @lvcifcrs and i’s 25 days of christmas event ?? so without further ado …. i present to you a psd for the 21st day of christmas ! accents blacks / browns / and oranges + comes with an optional texture . please like / reblog if you plan on using !

theme eight: dahlia — twitter-inspired theme, as requested by an anon, with an optional popup that can be fully edited from the customization panel.

preview / code: pastebin, github

features and options:

optional header image and optional profile image. header image width is whichever post size you choose + 100px, profile image is 125px x 125px and can be square or circular.

header has space for up to three custom links and three statistics. if you want to change the statistics icons, go to feathericons, find the name of the icon you want, and input the icon name into the customize panel.

optional popup: this can be fully customized from the customization panel. has space for you to add extra text and add up to six custom links. also has space for you to put up three sideblogs and a section for you to add up to three updates. make sure you enable it in the customize panel if you want to use it!

post sizes: 400px, 450px, 500px, 540px, 600px.

captions can be displayed on top or above posts, or you can choose to hide captions on index.

font sizes from 12px to 16px and nine different font options

notes: tumblr’s customize page is very buggy and when you first install the theme, you have to toggle the options on and off to get them to work properly. if something doesn’t look right or the post captions disappear, save and exit because 99% of the time it will look fine on your blog.

i used a couple different ones so i will share both of them lol 

1. yuju.psd

this one was made to reduce purple and blue toned lighting but it kinda sorta works on other lighting too lol

2. tzuyu.psd

works best if ur giffing from a video with bright lighting. will look like absolute shitty garbage on dark lighting. also has an option to make purple look more reddish (which i used on this version of the gif. u can barely tell but the difference is that her lipstick looks less purple-y lol)

first of all sorry i’m using my own muses edits as previews… omg. i was too lazy to think of random muses just for the template. they’re look pretty hq too, you can check them on my 1x1 blog: here and here. the gif ruined quality magic a little lol

i’ll be trying to release at least four templates a week this month! one & two are SPOTIFY and TWITTER inspired templates! if you enjoy my work and would like me to keep creating templates, consider buying me a coffee or donating $1 by buying this on payhip! me and my mom are moving so that’d help~

now let’s talk about the templates. goodies i used in my own muses’ edits are not included bc they’re not mine, the heart + blushing filter, the font in my fernando & henrique header and the topaz action are all credited to the amazing bumkeyz whose goodies always keep my edits prettier! check their stuff out. 

the templates themselves, though, were all made from scratch by me! which means i screenshotted both twitter and spotify and did the mock ups by myself. so please, pleeeease do not repost or claim your own. i’m proud of them and of my work here. you don’t have to credit me; do whatever you want with those! but i do appreciate reblogs in case you’re using them!

it’s all inside the template. fonts used are abeezee & cocogoose (as always lmao). i added some specifications in the layers, read them so you can edit the templates better, but i’ll write them here as well:

for the little music player, you need to edit the gradient map colors according to the album cover, like spotify does in the mobile player. 

for the PLAYING icon, the one on the right of the first song, you need to change the SECOND gradient map color so it fits the color you want for your edit. mine was red-orange (and purple) but if you want a blue or green edit, just change it here.  

move around verified icon, explicit warning, etc… bc sometimes the song title is too short or too big and you need to move them a little for the right or left to keep your edit pretty!
