Basically my entire theory boils down to it’s not a time loop, but is a cycle. Mono wakes up in the wilderness, moves on eventually saves another child, goes through some parts of the pale city as it keeps rotting, bound with friend, frees the thin man, thin man kidnaps monos friend, mono runs and then kills the thin man, goes into signal tower, frees friend from their escapism, friend betrays Mono, mono gets trapped and enslaved by signal tower, signal tower creates a new mono and drops of in the same spot to try again. Why because the tower enjoys watching mono suffer, every cycle mono befriends a child and is betrayed by his friend, and a new mono is made to go through the decaying pale city.
