While we brewed tea , I somehow made fun of the steam fogging your glasses. While we bantered about everything,you gladly listened to me. Your sharp wit curled in your gentle voice. How your eyes leaned into my soul. And in between sipping tea ,I held on to your hand like it was every single promise given to me.As you kissed my finger-tips ,everything my heart held back was set free.
