“A picture is worth a thousand words”

But tell me, what happened to words? A thousand words of worth, but a thousand words never said? Never written?

It had been a year since I last posted anything on tumblr and having spent a few minutes browsing through my feed, I noticed that all people post are pictures/mems. And I mean, that’s cool, I’m an art/photography fan and have posted my share of pictures in the past, but really… What happened to words? There are so many things to talk about, so much originality to be shared. But, those are just my thoughts.

Anyways, for the sake of irony and loyalty:
