Some healing looks like silence before it looks like progress.
Under a sunset sky,
Where faith revives and fears drift by.
Hatred fadesâno more goodbyes,
Just love that glows in endless skies.
Beneath the sky, my heart at rest,
With your warm heartbeat in my chest.
We bathe in echoes, soft and bright,
Wrapped in words that feel so light.
Near the stars, far from the scars,
Weâll weave our dreams, rewrite the past.
Gliding high where love empowers,
Hand in hand, weâll soar through flowers.
Not every story needs noise to be beautiful. đťđŤśđť~<3

should i
sleep ? am i
sleeping now?
feral night, may i pass
along your river as some
loved creature
unbound by moon
weightless across
your penitent meadow
ever-bowing in a breeze
to curl
upon a bed of wild things
and unnamed colors
adrift on dawnâs budding tide
floating
in dream chemicals
the underbrush awake
insomnolent voices
asking should i
sleep ? am i
sleeping now?

At least better than doomscrolling ~<3
I told myself it was the right thing to do, walking away like that.
But no one warns you how quiet the world gets when you leave behind the person who made it feel like home.
Now everything feels a little colder, a little heavierâŚ
and I keep wondering if you feel it too, or if Iâm the only one still standing in the echo of us.
Maybe Not Everything đ
The canteen was quieter than usualâmaybe because it was the weekend.
But inside her, nothing was quiet.
Thoughts overlapped, unfinished, like an argument that refused to settle.
She ignored it, the way she always did.
He walked in with the same easy energy, talking about random things as he sat across from her.
âGovernment exams are safer,â he said, breaking a sandwich in half as if it proved his point.
She nodded. Not because she agreedâbut because she knew he would look up once he was done.
He did.
âAre you even listening?â
âYes,â she replied softly. âYouâve already decided everything.â
He laughed. âAt least I have a plan.â
She didnât respond. Instead, she turned her notebook slightly toward herself, as if hiding something that wasnât even written yet.
A few seconds passed in silence that didnât need to be filled.
Then he leaned forward, took her pen without asking, and scribbled something random on the page.
âYour handwriting is terrible.â
She looked at it⌠and didnât erase it.
They moved toward the empty stage area when the canteen grew too loud.
He kept talkingâforms, deadlines, backup plans.
She stopped halfway through flipping her notebook.
âFor once⌠can you not plan everything?â
It came out sharper than she intended.
He blinked. âWhat?â
âNothing,â she said quickly, looking toward the torn banner hanging above the stage.
âYou just⌠make everything sound so simple.â
He let out a small breath, almost amused.
âAlright then, next time Iâll become a philosopher.â
Then, almost immediatelyâ
âBut remember, we have to fill out the form tomorrow.â
Just like that.
Back to normal.
She watched himânot directly, but enough.
He didnât pause.
Didnât ask again.
Maybe he never had.
The next day, the classroom felt brighter than usual.
The professor was explaining conjunctions, writing examples across the board.
She tried to focus, but her attention drifted.
Words connect things, he said.
She stared at her notebook.
If words could connect⌠why did some things still feel incomplete?
Her pen paused.
Maybe not everything was meant to match.
Beside her, he scribbled carelessly, barely paying attention.
He nudged her lightly. âHey, this is important.â
She looked at the board, then back at him.
âHmm.â
That was all.
Earlier, she would have said somethingâcorrected him, argued, added her own thoughts.
Today, she let it pass.
He didnât notice the difference.
The teacher continued when the head of the college entered with a file. They spoke for a moment and left.
From the front bench, a student suddenly shouted,
âGuys, the press meet starts in two weeks!â
The room shifted instantly.
Some smiledâthinking about a stable future.
Some grew tenseâworried about their preparation.
And some went quietârealizing they might not sit together like this again.
Ira sat still.
It felt like she was standing on an island, surrounded by a deep blue sea slowly closing in.
A bridge existed somewhere in the distance.
She could leave if she wanted to.
She didnât.
âIra,â someone called.
She looked upâalmost expecting it to be him.
It wasnât.
Just another classmate.
Something inside her dropped quietly, like fragile glass cracking without a sound.
And then, almost by accident, her eyes found his.
He looked at her for a secondâlike he wanted to say somethingâŚ
but didnât.
And that was enough.
The campus felt different that day.
Not quieterâjust⌠lighter.
People talked about plans, exams, leaving.
Everything moving forward.
He found her near the same place they always sat.
âSee you tomorrow?â he asked, like always.
She looked at him for a moment.
Not searching. Not expecting.
Just⌠looking.
âMaybe,â she said.
He nodded, satisfied with that answer.
For the first time, she was too.
A small pause settled between themâfamiliar, but not the same.
âTake care,â he added.
âYou too.â
He turned first.
She stood there for a moment, watchingânot the way she used to.
Just enough.
Then she looked away, adjusting the notebook in her hands like it finally belonged only to her.
For a long time, she had tried to understand what this was, what it could become.
Now, she didnât need to.
Maybe Not Everything Needed to Become Something More
â A short story written by me, exploring the quiet grief of letting go and incomplete endings. If it stays with you, thatâs enough.

Hope you like it. Thank you âĄ

What do you say to someone whose world has just been broken in two? How do you reach a heart that no longer feels whole? There are no perfect words for that kind of loss. There never have been. Language bends under the weight of grief like this, unable to carry it fully.
You cannot tell them it will fade, because it wonât. Not really. It will change, yes, but it will remain. Not as a storm that tears through them every moment, but as something quieter. A presence. A soft, steady ache that rises without warning, in the middle of ordinary days.
How do you explain that life will continue around them, even when theirs feels paused? That laughter will return, gently and unexpectedly, and they might not know whether to welcome it or feel guilty for it? That healing does not mean forgetting, and moving forward does not mean leaving behind?
You donât explain it. You sit with them. You let their sorrow exist without trying to shape it into something smaller.
Because grief is not something that ends. It becomes part of how they see the world, how they remember, how they love. It will sit beside them in quiet moments, echoing a name they still carry inside. It will walk with them through years, through changes, through everything that comes next.
And maybe the only truth that matters is this: they will learn to live with it. Not because they have to be strong, but because love like that never truly disappears. It stays, reshaped into something heavier, something quieter, something that remains with them until the very end.

When people carry unhealed wounds within, their perception of the world bends around their pain. They do not simply see reality as it is; they see it filtered through echoes of what once harmed them. Some respond to disappointment with silence so heavy it feels like absence, while others meet even the smallest discomfort with storms of resistance. Beneath both lies the same fracture: an inability to trace where the hurt begins. This distance from their inner world makes it difficult to guard themselves, to claim what they deserve, or to linger in joy without suspicion. They may long for connection yet remain estranged from themselves, unable to taste the full sweetness of life because the shadows of survival still flavor every moment.
