Patrick Kramer at Arcadia Contemporary.

A selection of works currently on view at Arcadia Contemporary in New York City from artist Patrick Kramer’s solo exhibition, “Creative Destruction.”

Interested in art from a young age, Patrick spent much of his childhood drawing and painting.  A perfectionist by nature, he found these creative pursuits to be an outlet well suited to his personality.  Patrick ended up studying painting in college, receiving a BFA from Brigham Young University in 2008.

Over the years, Patrick has explored a variety of artistic genres and subjects.  His somewhat obsessive tendencies led him to approach his craft with meticulous care and attention to detail.  In his recent work, Patrick frequently incorporates famous paintings from art history, along with elements of destruction.
