basically, i’m not a very social person.  sometimes the very thought of logging into a blog that interacts w/ so many people exhausts me beyond anything i can cope.  i tend to isolate myself a lot until things don’t seem so overwhelming anymore.  i’ve also had a few setbacks concerning my mental health that i need to work around.

ultimately, i circle back to a fragile place once in a pretty frequent while, & end up feeling like a bad friend for it.  that feeling is the core of this post.  i love you all so much.  please don’t take my offline skype status or my absence of conversation as absence of thought or care.  i think about you all daily.

Before anything, I would just like to say that it’s been an incredible six months on this blog. I’ve been here for a while, off and on, and I think this is the longest I’ve stayed in the roleplaying community to date. Even if it hasn’t, it’s been one heck of an experience. And because of this, I decided it was high time to make a little post in dedication to the people who’ve stuck by me, whether at the beginning or along the way—that the few hours I spend each week on this site has meaning in my life. .

 three words. three words and allison stops in her tracks,    freezes like a  d e e r  . comically probably looks like one,    too; eyes wide, fingers at lips, mouth parted. she doesn’t        know what to do with herself, it’s been so long since,    since she’s felt anything for anyone. liking, loving, feeling;    it was all just static noise to her. she didn’t have the time.       yet here she was. with a few steps she can be out the       door, or back by his side. part of her wants to run, pack      up, and move. what happens if this doesn’t work? she’ll      be left with bruises on her heart, the kind that don’t heal.                             she likes him, she really likes him.      feather-light feet carry her back to him, mouth shy, eyes       even worse. allison curls her feet back under her, tucks         into his side on the couch, mouth even with his neck.     she breathes, staying quiet, fingers skating over his palm.
