Bruce had seen felines roaming the beach maybe once or twice before. However, this one’s shape seemed… off. Or at least not similar to the cat which the shark had seen previously.

Regardless of the stranger’s difference to his or her feline brethren, the great white approached the newcomer still.

"Hello, bite," the great white greeted, flashing a teeth-filled smile.

There had been rumors going around, of a sentient shark. It had been nothing he'd ever witnessed before -- and as such, he had the unyielding curiosity to go and investigate. To gain more information on the matter, and discover something that had been previously unknown. If it was true, it would have been spectacular.

Kyubey had been roaming along the beach for no longer than half an hour, before his ears twitched at the sudden voice coming from behind him. His head turned, and his tail flicked as his eyes locked on to the massive creature whose own head was peeking up out of the water.

The Incubator turned to face the other completely, slowly venturing closer to the water's edge.

"So it is true. A talking shark. How... interesting."

Naoto sighed, "I had thought about the idea of bringing my parents back to life, but as much as I would want that, it, doesn't seem like it would make them happy." That was bad logic on her part and she knew it. She missed her parents more than anyone could imagine, she still had nightmares of them dying. The young detective walked around the room for a bit, pacing as it were. "I am always underestimated because of my age, and while i want to be accepted by the police, i don't want to be selfish either." Her latest cases hadn't been good and now her reputation was getting worse. She couldn't have that. "I wonder if it is possible to make me smart enough to live up to my family's name." she asked, "Is something like that possible?"

Kyubey watched as the other paced around the room, beady red eyes following her every motion as she thought through the possibilities of her wish. It was true, that basically anything could have been granted -- Naoto could have got her parents back, is she wished. She could have been transferred to a separate universe, where her parent's death had never occurred -- of course, there were always trade-offs.

Her next statement had his head tilting to the side. He lifted a paw to lick at it, tail stilling behind him as he spoke through her mind.

"That is more than do-able, Naoto. Your ability to connect patterns could be enhanced beyond anyone else's. There would be no clue that would escape your perception... is that your wish?"

Well he was certainly cute. Whatever an Incubator was. ”Well I love nature, even if you’re from outer space.” She smiled. “And you’ve been looking for me?Alright. Aren’t you worried about other humans seeing you though?”” She didn’t think she was that special. Just a regular girl who liked to work at a hospital as a nurse and help people, especially children.

The girl's ease and apparent trust of him was all the permission Kyubey needed. He leaned down on his paws, wiggling his backside for moment in preparation before taking a big leap up to land on the girl's shoulder. He landed with soft aws, and sat himself down comfortably on the narrow space.

"I'm not worried. You're the only one who can see me, Rose. In fact, I'm speaking to you telepathically, so I have no reason to be concerned about anyone hearing me either. We could walk in plain sight, and you would be the only one who would be able to see me."

He explained, nodding in direction right ahead of them.

"The closest flower shop is down this way, by the way... and as we're walking, I should ask you -- do you have anything you would like to wish for? If given the chance?"

The wanderer nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the voice almost resonate in her mind. What on earth?! Lucid turned around to face the small creature, eyes wide in surprise. She calmed slightly when she noticed it though, trying to write it off as simply her imagination or a hallucination again.

"O-Oh! Hello there little one."

So she had finally noticed him. The Incubator stayed in place, tail swishing behind him as he continued to watch the other. The startled look that crossed her eyes as they finally locked onto him. The ease of tension is what had him hopping down from his perch on a nearby fence, and walking towards Lucid -- always looking up at her as he neared.

"You're not busy, are you?"

She flinched at the sudden pressure on top of her head, stiffening. She wanted no part in this. “I’m perfectly happy as-is. There’s nothing in the world that I would wish for.”

"Well, I certainly can't make you wish for anything. Perhaps in the future a situation will arise that will change your mind. Or perhaps there's a situation you want to prevent, that you can stop now with a wish."

"Maybe not, but they are useful to my friend." Jamaar said while folding his arms. Offering contracts?Yep its the contractor. “Your name is Kyubey, right? If it is you should already know my name.”

Kyubey gave a nod of confirmation, staring up at the man.

"Yes, I am Kyubey. I suppose your friend has told you about me."

"I know you as well. You are Jamaar. And I was wondering... would you be interested in a wish?"

"Hello." Nightmare says with genuine happiness to see the other "How are you?"

“Hello.” The Incubator replied. This creature was unlike anything he had ever seen before. “I’m doing well.” He walked closer to the other, inspecting. “I’ve never seen a creature like you before. What is your species?”

"Kyubey? Nice name!" he replies, smiling at the other. he had seen something similar…but maybe it wasn’t the same? "Really? I don’t mind! I’d love to know more about you as well!" still, they did seem familiar in a way…

While Kyubey wasn't fluent in the customs of 'courtesy' that seemed to permeate through human society, he had observed enough of the pattern to offer the other being a nod of thanks at the compliment. His ears perking up once again, and his tail swishing rhythmically behind him as he came to a stop before the larger being. Learning about this creature may provide some great new insights.

"That's wonderful! Are you hungry? We could find something to eat while discussing more."

Kyubey sat on the bed next to her. The two of them had taken to spending time together, now that Naoto was so close to making a decision. Of course he would want to aid her in her contract-binding wish. So, nestling himself down against her side, he rested his hands on his paws and closed his eyes, curling his tail over his back as he laid down to relax.

"What is it? I may be able to offer a suggestion."

“——Good. Now, what about these?”

High above the newly spawned spare of the Incubator, more cutlasses, crowded into a circle, plummeted to the spot it landed on.

“Do those work too, Incubator?”

The Incubator was speared on the spot. He didn't even have a chance to look up to see the cutclasses coming straight for him, before they sliced through his body and pinned him to the ground.

And just like before, another Incubator came to replace it. This one appeared in a tree behind Sayaka, though made no motion to hop down from the branch. Instead, it just stared down at her, red eyes glinting in the darkness.

"This seems to be a tremendous waste of energy, Sayaka."

"I’m actually looking for the flower shop that’s suppose to be here… May I ask.. What are you?" She raised an eyebrow. "Sorry if I’m rude, I’ve never met a talking um…" He looked somewhere between a fox, cat and rabbit.

It wasn't odd that someone asked him what he was. In fact, that was the norm. He found himself noticing the pattern, if someone didn't ask him his species. So with the question, Kyubey stood up from his seated position and walked closer to the girl.

"I'm an Incubator! -- I've actually been looking for you. I know some humans aren't quite prepared for the existence of other life forms. But you stood out. I was hoping I could speak to you about a favor. And of course, I can explain everything to you while I show you to the flower shop."
