he doesn’t like that. how the strange other boy spits words he’s not heard before, how those he understands are thick and heavy with an accent he can’t place. sounds like a bond villain. alex doesn’t want to be associated with him. he slides back, his spine resting against the tree’s trunk and himself now out of sight thanks to leaves. “—- i won’.”

"You will. And I'll laugh at you. A lot." He sits on the ground and rests his back against the trunk of the tree. He takes a sub from his bag and digs in before taking on last look up at the tree behind him. 

'I haven't actually decided. I mean I don't want my face licked, but I'm not sure I feel like dealing with a devastated Russian.' It was probably better to not risk it.
