It is a slightly over -- life-size marble statue of the Roman Goddess " Diana " with deer. Currently located in the Louvre Museum, Paris.

Diana is the Roman goddess of the hunt, the moon, nature, and the wilderness, revered as a protector of forests, animals (especially deer), and childbirth, often depicted as a huntress with a bow and arrows, and identified with the Greek goddess Artemis, serving as a patroness for women, children, and the lower classes, including slaves.
