Hello, everyone ! 📏 I’ve finally settled in my new student room ! I was a bit disappointed about not being able to get the same one as last year, but I’m over it. This one’s actually a little bit roomier, although not as pretty.

So, this will be my workspace for the year, hopefully it’ll motivate me to be more productive than last year ! My classes start on Monday, I’m a bit apprehensive because the second year of university is supposed to be a lot harder. Anyway, let’s cheer up !

I’ve decided to create this studygram for the upcoming school year, because I’ve been alarmingly slacking off since the end of senior year.

I’ve always had good grades even though I only studied the night before, because I was convinced that I “worked better under pressure”. This led me to the present situation in which I don’t have the will to work anymore.

My first year of university was a complete downfall, because I suddenly found myself with too much free time on my hands since the teachers hardly gave any assignments compared to my high school years, and there was “no need to study” since the different courses weren’t regularly assessed. Therefore I ended up watching videos on YouTube instead of studying on my own as I should have done.

Thus, the birth of this account. I strongly believe that taking the time to make my notes look pretty will at once help me learn them, and make me want to actually open them. This will be my own little “renaissance”.

Lastly, I would like to address a big thanks to all of the studygrams/studyblrs that have inspired me, especially @studyquill and @emmastudies.

P.-S. : This account will only be active once I get back to my student room at the end of August, because I want to organise my workspace before taking photos.
