My favorite Molly groups are always her more “mature” and dynamic ones - black and gold, bring on the men, break my soul, papa was a rolling stone, baby (all time fav), ydlm, under pressure, big noise. For solos everything she done for Gracyn from locomotion onward, Regan’s Sinatra solos, Stella’s Spooky, Sarra’s champagne taste, Couchie’s senior slow jazz solos.

Molly’s best choreo was 2022-2023. Season 7, before the mass exodus. Solos - cinema italiano, these boots, if my friends could see me now, I gotcha, le jazz hot, white dress. Pretty much all of the groups - it’s raining men, that’s amore, 1+1, fashionista, my pumps, purse first, love letter to ari, cell block tango.
Her combos around this time were good too. It just hasn’t been the same 💔
this was by FAR my favorite molly era. every dance you mentioned is like perfect by my standards. i think they all have a special place in my heart too because that’s the first season where i was really clocked in to p21
ok i’ve done some studying and determined that my problem with recent molly combos (like last 8 months) is that fact that there’s SO much pausing in them. i feel like they just look super choppy to me when after every other movement we’re holding 5th position plie for 4 counts. it’s also getting very jazelle coded to me where every combo would kind of look the same if you watched them on mute because they’re just comprised of similar stylistic choices and steps. but again. this is all my personal thoughts and just because im not so much a fan of her new stuff, doesn’t mean it’s not good or that she needs to change anything!!! i’ve just noticed a super stark departure from a style that i used to really adore

I like her choreo more now than I did 2022-2023, papa was a rolling stone is absolute art🤩some s10 combos were bleh but most were really good, esp sports car, aquamarine, put ur records on, season 9 and 11 combos I think have been some of her best work, and her recent groups have been 👌
loveddddd papa. the song lowkey has some dance trauma for me but i can look past it lmao. i also really liked aquamarine and the ones she did for the intensive! i also am definitely not saying that her newer work is objectively bad, just very much not my personal taste in choreo

lmao I'm the opposite, I don't think I liked a single group Molly did from seasons 5-8, but from 9 onward I've been obsessed. I feel like now she actually choreographs her own style as opposed to just choreographing everything for only Dyllan and Selena.
interesting! i think it definitely has a lot to do with personal preference and what styles speak the most to you. i def agree on the dyllan and selena part tho even though i really liked her choreo then
i still enjoy mollys group choreo for the most part but the solos and especially combos are not hitting lately
very much agree! it just looks like awkward and repetitive. i loved when her choreo was upbeat, dynamic, and still had some tricks/legs with a focus on musicality as well. that’s what really stood out to me about her choreo when i first started following her, and i feel that it’s just been lost in her combos
