So here’s my scuttering little lizard boy named Vyncent Scaffold

The ‘eyes’ on his frills do close when the frills are at rest and when he’s not in the zone he’s easily startled. 

So a while back the husband-unit asked me about making an alien species for him to play around with vis-a-vis his scifi writing. And I totally went overboard. They’re still largely in development, but what I’ve got so far is basically something that could give the drow pointers on backstabbery.

Pictured is three “exiles” of their species, part of a splinter clan that was taken under Abyssian ‘care’ and subsequently branched off into something terrible. The matriarch, Meda in the center; her captain of the guard Meda’Mad’Dija to the left, and Meda’s warlord/main consort Meda’Zhdrav to the right.

When coloring practice and a warm up sketch goes hella overboard.
