This is fanon!!! This did nothing happen in the gachiakuta world and I made this ending up for the most recent arc. Just wanted to say that to clear up any confusion. đ A bit of backstory: you and Goka know each other. When Zanka was grabbed by Enjin, you were there. Of course there was a bit of a fight. Ever since you saw Goka there were always arguments and dirty looks.

The doll festival aftermath was a complete disaster. It was a devastating loss for both Hell guards and the Cleaners. With deaths, destruction, and more. Both meant to be protectors, yet neither saw the damage Mymo had in store. But a positive, the two organizations came together to clean the mess up.
With their joint temporary union they split the work. Most Hell Guards and Cleaners were assigned to the doll festival area, to locate people and help rebuild. But there was the issue of Zanka Nijiku. The run away Hell Guard. He was taken back to the Nijiku capital, by his older brother in hopes to heal him.
Goka, the serious and blunt man you dreaded coming across. He had major influence in the Nijiku capital. With his last name and his status as second in command. When you arrived with Enjin to retrieve Zanka you were met with resistance of course.. Enjin did most of the talking, you stayed in the background.
Finally you got the story. Zanka was still healing, slowly. You got permission to go in and help alongside Hell Guards doctors. The first few days you managed to avoid Goka like the plague. Oh how easy it was. You blended in with the crowds. Wore masks when walking with the doctors. Overall it was going great.
One evening as you were in Zankaâs room that lucky streak broke. You were checking his tubes when Zanka spoke, his voice weak and calm. He was always good at faking nonchalance..
âYouâre.. not fighting with my brother yeah..?â
Zanka asked as he looked up at you. You loved Zanka like a little brother.. You take a deep breath before speak up
âOf course not. Goka and I are getting along fine. We even talked the other night!â
A lie. You avoided that man like your life depended on it. You didnât want to tell Zanka because what he didnât know couldnât hurt him. And you didnât want him to feel a certain way. You knew he had a complicated relationship with his older siblings. You didnât need to open the wound and pour salt on it.
Then the doors slid open, man of the hour walked in, closing the door behind him slowly. When you saw him you paused. Gave your best âfriendly but I still hate youâ smile as you stood up straight. Goka, gave no smile back. He simply looked at you, then Zanka. Almost dismissing you. Which made you want to throw the vase of fake flowers Rudo gave Zanka, at Goka. Goka spoke up, interrupted your fantasy of that.
âZanka. You should eat more. Our doctors can take care of you better.â
You feel your eye twitch. âBetter doctors? What a diss.â You think as you look at Goka. The annoyance written all over your face. Goka looked at you after his diss. Prompting you to look away. Zanka looked between you two. You felt Zankaâs gaze on you, almost questioning your last conversation. Then you spoke up,
âGoka. I was about to leave. Zanka needs his rest. You should also find the door.â
You say as you walk to the doors. As you walk past Goka you couldnât help but mutter something to him.
âIf you can find it with that hat of yours.â
A diss. You couldnât let him call you a bad doctor and get away with it. Before Goka could turn to you he was met with the door being closed and you gone. After a moment he gave a curt nod to Zanka, as a good night. Then he left the room as well.
When you walked out, you immediately tried to speed walk down the hall. In heels it was hard to be quiet. No use for it though because Goka just called out for you
His question was not a question. More like an order. You look over your shoulder to find him walking towards you. You sigh and shove your hands in your pockets..
âWhat.. It's late. Can we talk tomorrow?â
âYour voice is very annoying. Is that an accent?â
Goka scoffed and rolled his eyes. He looked down at you annoyed. After crossing his arms over his chest he raised an eyebrow.
âThe doll festival. How is the clean up?â
His question made you pause. You furrowed your brows, then sighed dramatically.
âI donât know. Iâve been staying here in the compound.â
âNear the- wait. Why would I tell you?â
Your question made Goka think, why did he care.. he sighed then rubbed his forehead, like he was annoyed, then he spoke.
âIf something goes wrong with Zanka, where could we find you?â
âThe other doctors know Iâm sure you donât need tooâ
âNo need for your petty attitude. Iâll ask themâ
You feel your eye twitch again. You take a deep breath. Of course he would make this hard.. you were about to speak up when Goka turned away and started to head off. You blink a few times. You had a sense of dread for tomorrowâŠ
Tomorrow came. Before the sun even came up you were woken up to loud voices outside. You got out of your bed annoyed.. you were staying in the guest wing. So why when you looked outside was Goka there training a young army in the courtyard. You wanted to open the window and scream at him. Of course he would wake you up with a whole damn army.
Looking at him from the window it annoyed you how much it looked like he didnât care. He was shirtless.. which distracted you a bit. He was a handsome asshole. You watched the training from the window. It was loud, even louder if you opened the damn window.
So you did the adult thing and gave up. Went back to bed. Put the pillows over your ears, then the blankets over your head..
By the time you went to check on Zanka you were tired. Not exhausted so to say, but noticeably more tired. Once the nurses briefed you on zankaâs current state, you walk in, pulling your mask up prepared to blend in with the doctors again.
You were so focused on changing zankaâs bandaging that you didnât notice the doctors and staff leaving. Well you did, but you paid it no mind. That was until a voice made you pause..
âY/L/N. Trying to hide?â
You slowly look up. In your head trying to give the voice different names but- Goka. He was standing right at the door. Not in his uniform. A black turtleneck, and jeans. Wow your eyes are struggling to stay up. You clear your throat and slowly stand, trying to deepen your voice
âI think you have the wrong person.. Iâm not-â
âCut it out. The mole on your wrist gave you away.â
You immediately roll your sleeves of your doctorâs coat down. That damn mole on the inside of your wrist gave it away? Pissed you off. You sigh then tie off the bandage you were working on.
âFine. What do you want Goka?â
You tilt your head. âWalk? Letâs go? That the hell message is that? Is he telling me to leave?â You tried to think as fast as you could but that didnât help. Goka was already walking away, expecting you to follow. You quickly take off your gloves, mask, and wash your hands. You dry your hands on your doctor coat as you follow Goka out.
The two of you walk outside along the sidewalks. You couldn't help but look around. The Nijiku capital was full of resources. Like live plants, good food, and safe tap drinking water.. you push that feeling of envy down as soon as you feel it.
âHow is he? Good yes?â
Goka suddenly asks, breaking your thoughts. You think for a moment, your answer needs to be careful. Not to piss him off. After a moment you finally speak,
âZanka is fine. Heâs recovering nicely. Is that what you brought me out here for?â
Goka was blunt. You stare at him blankly, he was honest. Thatâs what made your arguments more personal to you. He spoke his mind, whether it was needed or not. You finally nod and look away,
âThen can I go back?â
You stare at Goka dumbfounded. Bonding? He called this bonding? Walking along a path, of beautiful nature by the way, in silence. You look away. It wasnât too bad actually.. when youâre behind him you can think all you want about his back, waist, ass, thighs- âwait donât go there. Bonding. Bonding. This is bonding.â You think as you look away.
The nature wasnât too bad. You didnât grow up with this stuff. You grew up fighting for your food, experiencing punishments, and-
âWhere are you from? Before the cleaners groomed you.â
Goka asked suddenly. The question made you pause. You narrowed your eyes slightly as you glared at the back of Gokaâs head. He walked fast, so naturally you were a step behind. Still. So you spoke first.
âThey didnât groom me. I left myself at 16.â
â16 is young to make a big life decision.â
You grit your teeth. Heâs right. Of course he is. You were practically a baby,
âI didnât grow up a prince.â
âReally? Every cleaner I met said you were a princess.â
You pause. That dumb name Enjin introduced you when you joined team Akuta.. Princess Y/N. Make you scoff every time, but this time you managed to stay calm,
âNot for royalty. My mother worked in a brothel. She was a Princess, the highest title. When I was born I was raised to take her place.â
That time Goka didnât have a sharp response. He only nodded after a moment. Then he cleared his throat and spoke,
âI take it you hate the nickname..â
âVery much. So to answer your first question. Iâm from the southâs entertainment district. I joined because.. I didnât want to be a princess.â
Goka nodded. He was quiet for a long time. You almost thought the conversation was over.. then he spoke up
âThose places.. arenât child friendlyâ
You blink, again, then a few more times. You couldnât tell if he was dense or just blunt. You take a deep breath. Bonding.
âUh yeah no they arenât. I wouldnât think training kids to be killers is child friendly either but..â
âThat isnât Hell Guard. We have reason and disciplineâ
âSo a cult. I donât have much experience in thatâ
Goka sighed loudly, making you remember your werenât supposed to argue. He shook his head, then you spoke again to smooth it over
âBut I donât assume you have experience either ..â
You say carefully as you look away. He noticed your carefully chosen words, the look away, and your body language. He sighed again, this time softer and not so agitated. In your mind you cheer, you calmed him down.
The walk ends when Goka is pulled back to his work. You cheer internally once more. Alone in a pretty garden.. you want to pick the flowers but you had no idea of the rules. You figured you should get back to Zankaâs room. The faster he healed the faster you two would be able to leave back to the cleaner's headquarters.
