shinji keeps track of your period, always on alert weeks before it starts. he wants to prepare himself for your mood swings and breakdowns whenever you're having cramps.

on your first day, he'll make the bed properly for you to lie on after you brush your teeth. he’ll cook you breakfast since mornings are never your thing—especially if you just started. you’re quite moody in the mornings, which is why shinji gave up on waking you up unless it was urgent to be somewhere.

the day you're out of pads, you'll send shinji on a mission to go to the human world and buy menstrual products. he obviously struggles and has to give hiyori a call. however, hiyori will make fun of him or sound annoyed because he's apparently a 'bad boyfriend' for not knowing the pad size to get you.

"why does the label say wings? since when did pads fly?"

"why are you genuinely stupid?"

"HELP ME, HIYORI."

whenever your cramps are really bad, shinji will lie down on the bed with you, giving you a really long and nice hug. sometimes he'll try to joke and say something like: "i can use my bankai and send the cramps away."

he comforts you with long hugs and by rubbing your back, sending you to sleep.

"sleep all day, and don't fight me when you wake up.”

"WANT ME TO, uhh... hug you?"

he probably has no clue in the world what he's doing. listen, gagamaru is a great boyfriend because he has his own way of showing affection, but he's not the best when it comes to helping you with your cramps.

sometimes he'll make you a gift and give it to you, hoping it'll put you in a better mood.

and guess what? it works like a charm! he stares at you opening his gift just to get your reaction. he’s very satisfied by how your face lights up after having a little pout on your face the entire day.

you’ll thank him and kiss his cheek for the lovely presents.

whenever you have really bad cramps, however, you'll be hiding under the blanket. he’s pondering what to do. the choice is most definitely NOT to leave you alone. instead, he'll grab a bunch of snacks from the kitchen and slide them under the blanket.

because he thinks... maybe period cramps can go away if you eat! he’s cute for considering that, but you'll have to tell him that it doesn't work like that one day.

he comforts you by giving you little things that mean a lot to you.
