SHINGETSU-TEI.   An independently-owned tea room capable of housing 8-9 people located in Beaulieu’s Azalea District.  Visitors are expected to RSVP before they are permitted to see anything beyond the exterior. Though the conference is a tad pricey, one can expect a relaxed and soothing atmosphere while the owner performs one of Japan’s most historic traditions —— the tea ceremony. At present, they are not looking to hire; if interested in participating in such an event, citizens are encouraged to contact MIKAZUKI MUNECHIKA at their earliest convenience.

GIT HELP.   A freelance software programming, computer technician, and basic computer set-up service located in the Ristretto District. Whether you’re from a world with no tech and need help with your first computer, or you’re looking for complex programming and computer engineering services, you can always GIT Help. At the moment, the schedule is frequently “booked solid” during daytime hours, so all appointments will need to be booked after 5PM. On the bright side, it’s open until midnight! Located in the Chamomile District is the new Savitashri Flowers, a shop that carries beautiful flowers and lotuses that can be purchased to bloom. The owner strongly guarantees all of their plants shall have the utmost guidance and protection of the sun, even in the wintertime! A perfect place to browse for a lovely gift to give to a loved one or for home decoration. Currently, the owner is looking to hire!

Monday : Your high rests at 72F ( 22C ) with a high chance of rain throughout the night. The humidity rests between 82-85%, so, it is advised you bring something to cool you off should you venture into the streets. Have you heard? The gondola rides have re-opened! Citizens of Koi ( as Beulieu does not have gondola’s ) are now free to venture around the city by boat once again. Tuesday : Partially cloudy, your high is 73F ( 23C ) with brief intervals of rain throughout the day. Hyacinth Academy is holding a fund-raising bake sale from 3-7PM. The culinary club will be providing freshly cooked meals and assorted refreshments to anyone who drops buy and purchases one of many, many carefully crafted delights! Wednesday : Partially cloudy with a high of 81F ( 27C ). Residents of Beaulieu will notice some construction on-going until September. Odd. It’s too large a space being purchased to belong to a market or a shop. Briefly, you wonder what could be going on. Residents of Koi, however, will also notice construction in the inner-city. It seems a new establishment is fast arriving.

Thursday : Your high remains at 86F ( 30C ) with clouds and partial rainfall throughout the day. Queen Anne’s Flowers is partnering with Deja Brew to host a bouquet-making competition! Do you consider yourself enlightened in the meaning of flowers? Think you have what it takes to design the hottest, most complimentary bouquet around? Drop on by and sign up! Friday : Your high for the day is 86F ( 30C ) with some clouds throughout the day. Cushion Star Center, on Beaulieu Island, is opening its doors for a meet-and-greet with some of their prized exhibits! Dolphins, sea-turtles, blue mackerel, and much, much more will be waiting for you at the aquarium. Nightingale Hall, on Koi Island, is also hosting an exhibit. This one is a real treat, offering anyone curious on Koi’s founding, history, and success a chance to learn it all in a 3hr. documentary-styled film ; you can, alternatively, just browse the plaques and displays.

Saturday : With nothing but periodic clouds to disturb you, your high is 88F ( 31C ). Hyacinth Academy and Amaranth University are officially closed for the summer, with the exception of remedial lessons and club activities. Classes for both institutions resume September 1st.

Civilians are NOT allowed near scenes of an on-going criminal investigation ; however, we’re more than aware some of your rapscallions won’t listen to us mere reporters. The only civilians who should be poking around are the two, currently, enlisted members of the force. Again, though, we’re familiar with the citizen’s thought process and their tendency to overlook authority when explicitly told not to do something. So, here is what you will find!

police, detectives, forensics, etc. swarming the area. they will be going door-to-door of each and every house asking questions and interrogating those who reside near the scene. any civilian who shows up not affiliated with the area will be asked to leave. if you are not sneaky about lingering around, you will be arrested on-sight and fined.

if you can get creative enough to remain in the area, you will find the body covered with the usual sheet. unlike everything else about the scene, the corpse is heavily guarded and if you are seen advancing or making to move towards it, you will be arrested, charged with tampering, and fined.

should you ignore the body and stay hidden, who knows, you might find some useful information just through listening.

as far as evidence is concerned, that will be up to the muns of kurapika and chrollo to shuffle among the rest of you. happy hunting!

On July 7th, 2xxx, witnesses reported shouting around 1:00AM which soon escalated and died abruptly by 1:30AM — to their horror, an unidentified child was murdering an equally unidentified victim. Frightened, not willing to assist either party, residents remained in their homes and pretended last night’s events was a byproduct of a fever dream, something imagined in the darkest of hours. This, however, was not the case. Daybreak showed what they witnessed, the crime they let happen, was very real and in need of action. MIDNIGHT BLOSSOMS. is a café and bakery located in the Ristretto District on Beaulieu, just shy of the pier leading to one of the island’s many oceans. From sweets, to brunch, to lunch, and light dinners, you are guaranteed a culinary experience to remember. All teas are loose leaf, coffee beans are freshly grounded, and with over fifty different varieties, you are sure to find the perfect brew.

Honmaru Villa : Though not official housing recognized by the Project, Beaulieu’s Ristretto District houses a citadel managed by some of their denizens.  Boasting a marvelous view, various levels, a dojo, and miniature vegetable + flower gardens  —  maintenance proves wearisome but manageable.  There are, of course, expectations.  A.) RESIDENTS MUST BE TSUKUMOGAMI.  While humans and other creatures are permitted visiting rights, allowing another species residency is tricky pertaining to the whole saniwa business.  B.) Background, affiliation, etc. is unimportant. Be you a revisionist, government-affiliated, or neutral blade, these grounds are open-minded. One will not be turned away on account of their past.  C.) Everyone must do their part to assure the safety and survival of the citadel.  If one meets the criteria and accepts these rules, provided you don’t recklessly murder another inhabitant, you will be allowed entry. If a mun wishes to room their tsukumogami here, they are to message the Pairing Project blog at their earliest convenience.

On April 28th, 2xxx, Ruby Kurosawa’s ( @purecried ) remains were found deserted outside her shared Cappuccino residency.  A passerby spotted the disheveled, motionless schoolgirl and alerted police – pronounced dead on-scene, she was transferred to Peony Hospital for further examination and dissection.  Autopsy reveals blunt force trauma to the head, one gunshot wound to the victim’s right knee, multiple stab wounds, and internal bleeding.  Coroner has not specified a cause of death, stating where it not the shock which killed her, there are ‘too many factors’ and they will ‘wait further instruction and analysis from the police.’

On May 6th, 2xxx, investigators determined NO CONNECTION between Kurosawa’s murderer and the high-profile serial killer wreaking havoc in Belladonna. However, they also stated the POSSIBILITY COULD NOT BE RULED OUT.  In accordance with the shortage of blood, the investigation has concluded Kurosawa was killed elsewhere before someone relocated her body to Cappuccino District.  No surveillance of the perpetrator was documented in CCTV footage and no eye-witnesses have stepped forward.  We end this report with cautionary warnings and well-wishes to friends and family of the victim.  Stay tuned, readers.  We have a feeling this isn’t over just yet.
