Listen, ik everyone thinks teacher is now Murr but i want yall to take into consideration that they may not be since there was a panel of them in one scene on chapter 1.

There is this huge connection between Teacher, Vanitas of the Blue Moon, Ruthven, and Naenia. I just know there is and that is what is driving the entire story. Now we know Vanitas knows more than he lets on and only tells Noe what he knows when he has to. He said he had an inkling that Naenia was Queen Faustina. However, despite wanting to stop cursed bearers, he says she is less dangerous as Naenia. Think about if he were to turn her back into a vampire, he would inevitably prevent the making of new curse bearers. What exactly is going on? We know that both the Beastias nor Vanitas want Faustina to come back. Why?

Let’s get on to these connections. So because Noe calls Vanitas of the Blue Moon a woman, I will assume she is one. He is watching the memory, so the voice must belong to a woman. Anyways, Noe points out that Faustina and Votbm look really similar. Even their hair is cut similarly. This leaves a few possibilities. Faustina and Votbm are sisters (some have stated twins but idk how that works out because the story talks about them being born under two colored moons), mother/daughter, of the same clan (I am still thinking they belong to the Archviste clan), or the same person (which I personally do not want).

Now, Teacher has been with Faustina for the longest until Ruthven took over. And we all know both of them do not get along. Does this have to do with Ruthven taking Teacher’s spot? Funny thing is they are both extremely similar. Both of them collect weird treasures as we have seen their office and are known as teachers. Seeing Ruthven’s old personality, you would think they would suit each other (since they exhibited a fun feel to them). How did both their relationships towards Faustina lead her to become Naenia?

I have this little theory that maybe Faustina is Votbm’s kin, so there must be a repercussion that comes along with making one her kin, and so she did not want Vanitas or Misha to go through it. Maybe this could be why the Beastia ganged up on her but we will have to see. I just know that Votbm has previously made someone her kin, and it did not go well.

Moving on, Teacher and Votbm got something going on as well. They are also portrayed very similarly (fun-seeking, educators, curious, powerful, shrouded in mystery). I would say that Noe is much more like Votbm though. I could squeeze in Noe’s connection to Votbm, but I’m not going to simply because that one has like almost no pieces (but I will say that Noe just being found by random old people is hella sketchy). I was thinking that if we combined Noe’s personality and Faustina’s looks, we get Votbm lol. Reversing back, Teacher being fascinated by the Book of Vanitas raises some questions. He was literally studying curse bearers and keeping Louis for that exact reason. Why study curse bearers? Did his research help the Beastias turn Faustina into one? I also find it fascinating that he and Votbm do not have true names. Teacher changes his constantly. I thought it was to avoid becoming a curse bearer but maybe he is just not satisfied with the names he chooses (like Votbm).

We all know Noe has had barely any interaction with the outside world apart from Averoigne. To be honest, when Noe first mentioned a secret base he and the kids found in the MIDDLE OF AN ISOLATED FOREST I thought it was really strange. I also thought it was weird there were village kids but whatever. Anyways, I keep thinking that the secret base looks really similar to a convent or a monastery.

I think it could have once belonged to Vanitas of the Blue Moon. Now, we all know VotBM was banished in a snowy forest. What better coincidence than the magical forest of Averoigne? Where teacher also happens to reside while appreciating the BLUE MOON. How weird that he knew where the secret base was and that the kids were there the night Louis went mad. Here, Teacher is depicted looking like a demon while Luna looks like a holy figure.

Anyways, the reason why I believe the secret base is a monastery of some sort is beacause Luna dresses in such a church fashion with the pope-like stole and crossier. Lol.

She looks like a religious figure. Maybe she was part of this monastery.

The subtle hints given by Domi’s siblings show that they think pretty lowly of her. Notice how Veronica calls her dull, and it immediately quiets her.

It brings me back to the flashback where Domi wished to stay at Teacher’s house forever with Louis and Noe because her family always compared her to her genius sister. Notice how out of all her siblings, Dominique was the only shy, reserved one. Even Louis was more confident and was the one to protect her. I think that after Louis’ death, she probably felt the need to change herself. Past Dominique is REALLY different from current Dominique. Or at least how she portrays herself.

If you read back on the first 10 chapters, Jun intentional made us believe Louis and Domi were the same person. Her current mannerisms and even her hair mirrors Louis. This is to emphasize the parallels currently. I think she was really traumatized by the incident to where she tried to become more like him for Noe’s sake and for her own. Growing up and being constantly belittled and reminded that you’re inferior to the people around you really affects your mental growth. When I look at her, I feel as if she tries to be more like Louis because she misses him and tries to comfort Noe where the shy, young Domi couldn’t. I actually feel bad on how she grew up.

Especially when Antione remarked that there wasn’t anything she could do anyways. He basically said she was weak and insignificant to even do anything.

And I can see this insecurity of hers because we can see that both Veronica and Antoine are really powerful (as her brother has a seat on the council), and Domi hasn’t displayed any formula rewriting near their level. It makes her feel as if she can’t protect anyone but she wants to. I hope Naenia doesn’t take Dominique’s name in exchange for power like what happened to Jean Jacques.

So I feel like Luna is not the original Vanitas of the Blue Moon that was told in the story by Noe in the first chapter. The story states that Vanitas was a man, and Luna is most likely female, but the author is throwing me off by having Misha call her “father.” We know Vanitas inherited his current name “Vanitas” from Luna, so I think Luna also inherited the name from a previous Vanitas. This brings about the question of what is our main Vanitas’ real name?

Another thing is I’ve read that a lot of people think Murr is actually Lord de Sade (Teacher) because he can shape-shift, and something is off about the cat. However, I personally don’t believe it because their personalities are really different. I think it’s more likely that Murr is providing insight on what Noe is up to to his Teacher. We can see Murr’s eyes are two different colors , so maybe one of them acts like a spy camera to allow Teacher to see what’s going on with our white haired boy. If you think about it, Murr goes wherever Noe goes. And Teacher was always out of the house, so how was he able to keep watch on Noe. Most likely through Murr. Now why does Jun pan on to Murr’s eye in chapter 43? Idk. It kind of hints that Murr has had his own scars that he has to deal with I guess. Implies he is haunted by something just like Vanitas. The up close shot of Murr’s eyes look like stars in the sky and Jun has used those stars a lot when it comes to rewriting formulas so who knows.

Another thing that I’m convinced about is that Luna died probably trying to protect Vanitas which is why he is so aggressive with Noe who runs in front of him because he probably hates having to be protected. Every time someone mentions his actions will get him killed, he seems to oblige even more as if he wants to die. It happened when Chloe warned him about drinking his blood and when he provoked Ruthven. The look of “go on and do it” kinda worries me.

One scene in particular that stuck with me was how he mentioned he hated people who were powerful but hold back simply because they have their own set of morals, and they eventually get killed in the end. This may have been what happened to Luna. I am more convinced when he mentions Chloe’s face about how she’s ready to die. Either he can relate or Luna may have had the same expression.

Something that really has me bothered is how Ruthven, Teacher, Noe, the Beastias, Luna, Jeanne, and Vanitas’ story all intertwine. Why is Teacher out so often? What is he doing? The Beastias and Ruthven look like they’re not on the same page. Why did Teacher throw Noe into this story and what is Vanitas hiding from all of them? He is the only one who has had true interactions with Luna. And she’s sort of the basis on how this story began - with the Curse of the Blue Moon. Curse bearers. Why is it linked to Vanitas of the Blue Moon when we’ve been shown she has found remedies to cure vampires. Her story is the only one that seems separate from the whole Humans vs. Vampire War.

I actually hope Naenia doesn’t turn out to be Luna because it’s a bit cliche. Ik Naenia is the Red Queen, so I basically don’t want the Queen and Luna to be the same person. How did the Queen become a cursed bearer? Someone worped her true name, and Vanitas knows she is cursed, but he hasn’t tried to save her. Most likely because she is even more dangerous when her mind is intact. He really did not want the Queen to regain her memories. His goal seems to be saving vampires, so maybe the Queen would only bring their downfall.
