I'm a rather new thoosie so I don't have very many credits yet and I'm still afraid of some coasters, but I'm working on it! I spent the first 18 years of my life being seriously afraid of rollercoasters (and most flatrides) before hyperfixating on them right before my 19th birthday. It helped give me something to work towards after my Shit Got Fucked by burnout and mental illness (and mold) and thus became really important to me. I worked my way up to my first inverting coaster on July 30th 2022, and have been continuing to work towards getting on bigger coasters!

coaster cutouts should not all be priced the same tbh. my original argument for this was "some of them are really simple and easy to do" but honestly? even some of the ones that aren't shouldn't be the same price because sometimes its literally just a bunch of seats and they're tedious to do. Why the fuck are these all $35.

Blue Streak will take an hour at the maximum to do. Iron dragon will take maybe 2 and a half hours. Anyone who's put these together before will not be buying Yukon Striker (not just bc of the amount of seats but because of the type of seats. B&M seats are a fucking nightmare to do sometimes).

hot take: Nickelodeon Universe at Mall Of America (the one that doesn't look depressing) is an incredibly underrated theme park on account of it being one of the best ones to go to for getting rid of a fear of coasters

I keep forgetting to post on this blog lmao. Anyways back on August 3rd I went back to Kings Island with my sister! Got to reunite with my baby girl Mystic Timbers, however I also got 3 new credits out of the trip: The Bat, Diamondback and Orion!!! Orion is my first giga, and also my 54th credit. Although I still don’t have every credit from that park, my only regret is not trying to stay cooler and better hydrated because I ended up experiencing heat exhaustion at the end of the day. Maybe next time I’ll get the rest lmao.

2 years ago today, I stood in front of the West Coaster at Pacific Park, nervous out of my mind about riding it. That was the first day i had begun my journey to overcome my fear of rollercoasters.

Today I marched onto X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain, just as nervous as I was 2 years ago, and got my 50th coaster credit. :]

Some of the yummy ass food I ate at Knott’s yesterday. I also had the sausage (without the boysenberry stuff bc I hate sauerkraut and mustard) and another one of those smoothies bc they fucked. Those poutine chili fries did NOT have gravy and they were very fucking good. I took them home. I’m not sure what the boysenberry aspect was though

The milkshake at Coasters Diner was allegedly very chunky according to my mom. My dad drizzled the boysenberry dip onto the French toast burger instead of dipping it and then complained about it being sticky.

Back on the topic of the sausage, that thing FUCKED. They had a similar item back in 2019, where I had taken the world’s worst photo of it and then declared it my all time favorite food. Although the boysenberry ketchup was missing this year and I also discovered it was boiled and not grilled, it still holds up.

I am personally a big fan of the pink in the top right, it’s very reminiscent of the area of the park and the ride’s old color scheme!
