Knit Babes

A few pictures of my knits I've been working on for Designer Maker focusing on FLORA 🌼🌺🌸💐 and the patterns and colours you can find in flowers without making it obvious when you first look at my knits. 💕 - Phoebe Land

The Suitcase Tour - The knitting and Crochet guild presented at the University, showing a collection of works all based on colour, from different eras. This gave us inspiration to get back into the knit shed to do some work and also think about getting together to visit the guild's archive in Holmfirth once again to look at more colourful pieces they have in their collection. I also managed to get a sneak peek of the Rowan collection they had brought in for a separate presentation! Colour and pattern are predominant within this series of garments.

Stephen West's hand knit work is very influential due to his colour work as well as use of pattern. West's ability to think outside of the box will serve him well with his upcoming collections. @westknits

One of my favourite knitwear designers is Aitana Baeza who I discovered on Instagram and never looked back! Her colour pallets and techniques are so exciting and I alway use her for inspo when I'm stuck.
