It went well, and he will send everything he found to my primary care physician so she can make a few changes. He did like it when I told him I will get back on my stationary bike, so I will do that. This afternoon we went to Webb Memorial Park, and sat staring at the ocean that was just beautiful. We stayed and watched the sunset, and it was behind the trees, but it was worth seeing. I did my knitting in the car, and took photos of my project at Webb Park. It is so nice to have such a beautiful, restful place so close to home. Be safe out there.

There was a surprising number of boats traffic on the Fore River. It’s usually pretty quiet on weekdays, but today there were a lot of boats traveling on the water. The water temperature of the water in the Fore River is only 64°, so it is pretty cool, especially for swimming. I assume being on the water in a boat must be a little chilly these days, too. We got home from a medical visit in Boston, and in a short time the dark clouds rolled in, and we had severe thunderstorms. It was the first time I remember the thunder really taking over, repeating over and over again with less than a minute between strikes. We had torrential rain for quite a while. The storm moved on, the sun appeared, and the day quieted. I dodged lots of puddles on the deck when I went out to take photos, and I was surprised to see sailboats out on the water. Sailors are an amazing lot. Be safe out there.

We have become so used to watching every televised game, that I am at a loss for ight now with no more games to watch. It was a wonderful distraction from the summer reruns on television now. to show the temperature was 73°. It was a bright sunny day in Wessagussett, and it was a very lovely, comfortable day outside. We watched the World Cup soccer game final between Spain and Venezuela. Venezuela couldn’t score a goal with only 9 shots on net during the overtime. Spain was in great control for the whole game. This evening it looks like more smoke may be moving back, although the weather reports haven’t mentioned anything about it. We’ll have to see what happens. Be safe out there.

We spoke to the priest who presided over the Mass, and he knew our pastor from St. Adalbert’s. It was so nice to make that connection. This afternoon we watched England beat France 4-3. It turned into a warm day, and the air was clear today with no real smoke from Canada until this evening, when it began to return. It is supposed to stick around through tomorrow, so it’s back to closed windows, and wearing masks outside. What we need is lots of rain up in Canada to start to change this dangerous situation. The air was bad again today, so I stayed indoors to take my photos so I wouldn’t be breathing in particulate matter. I saw a doctor explaining how dangerous particulate matter can be, and it is horrible for lungs and tracheas. I told Mike to wear a mask when he took the dog to the groomer this morning. He wore it picking him up, too. The bad air is supposed to last until at least midnight, so we are using only the fan to keep cool. Be safe out there.

to show the temperature was 83°. For most of today it was cloudy, and there was an orange hue to the sky from wildfires in Ontario, Canada. It was a very eerie when I went out to take photos earlier with the orange sky so prominent. After some time the orange faded some, and I got some photos without the orange tinge. We watched the World Cup soccer game between England and Argentina today. There was no score in the first half, but England scored first in the second half. Argentina tied it, then went ahead, and won 2-1. The final is set between Spain and Argentina. It should be a good game on Sunday. Be safe out there.

We had a windsurfer in Wessagusset today. It’s the first one this summer that we’ve seen.
