Hello I never really requested before. But is it okay if you write fluff for Meguro Masaki being treated by reader? (Like injuries.) He could be confused or something because he isn't use to it?
NGL!! This is a character I never thought that I would be writing for, but here we are. I hope this is to your liking. I apologize for taking so long to answer this, I've been cleaning up my blog, changing the theme, and updating links and whatnot. I want the best experience possible for my readers.
Relationship Status: Your Choice
Sitting in a waiting room, the walls are plain white, a simple, blue table and two mtaching chairs, medical supplied laid out neatly rested upon the table. These things are the only things decorating this medium-sized, plain room. Meguro was a beast of a man, and most would argue that he was more beast than man. You were at one time, one of those people.
When you first met Meguro, he was unpleasant, to say the least, drool, an elongated tongue, wide and crazed eyes, a bulking, hulking figure that was always bent over, his hair wild and looked matted, his sink was an off grey almost green color, and he was littered in scars... You didn't want to touch him... You didn't even want his ugly eyes on you... It was enough to make you gag.
Standing next to your boss, you silently listened, taking in the mercenary trio. You remained silent the entire time, silently questioning your boss's sanity for hiring such a beast of a man... You despised him with everything in your heart... However, your views on him began to change, as he began to show that he did have feelings... And that he was actually a sweetheart. You remember sitting outside on a bench in front of a corporate building. Your boss had some business to attend to, and you weren't allowed inside, so you just sat and waited on the bench.
The mercenaries weren't allowed in either, though they made themselves scarce. You sighed deeply, ready for the day to end when a hesitate movement next to you caught your attention. You looked over and seen Meguro, his eyes wide as he stared up at you, in what you could only assume was nervousness, though you weren't sure why he would be. Before you could even say anything, his hand shot up, and in between his large fingers, he held a delicate flower. It was beautiful .
A simple flower, one where you'd find out in front of buildings like these, but even though they were simple, they were still some of the prettiest of flowers. You looked at him for a moment before you looked at the flower, hesitate on taking it, but he just gently laid it down next to you on the bench, and then he stalked away. You watched him. He was an enigma. He presented himself one way, but he was truly a whole different person within. You looked down at the little flower, gently picking it up. You stared at its beautiful and vibrant color before you gave a small smile.
After that, you and Meguro weren't exactly friends, but you both did tend to sit quietly with one another occasionally. You've even gotten into the habit of bringing him food from your own home, making his lunch along with yours. You could admit now that he was genuinely a sweetheart. He knew how he looked and how he came off... But you now looked past it. The more you hung out with Meguro, the more you began to realize that he had a childlike innocents to himself yet he was hyper aware that he was an adult... He was strange.
Whenever he'd report back to your boss after a mission, you'd always tend to his wounds, much like how you are doing now in one of the many waiting rooms within your boss's skyscraper. He never made any commentary, never a grunt of pain or even in irritation. He just sat quietly, his eyes sometimes darting around. He'll stare at you. He'll play with his hands and pick at his clothes or old scabs, and if you were talking, he'd listen diligently.
Very rarely will he add his own thoughts and questions further on whatever it was you were speaking of. He was a curious man yet also detached. You've dressed his wounds so much that you've gotten into the habit of bringing extra medical equipment with you to work now, and honestly, it was pleasant. Looking at him now... He wasn't as beastly. He wasn't as crazed and deranged. He wasn't as gross looking, and he didn't cause your nose to wrinkle in disgust anymore.
You now saw him as a gentle and misunderstood giant. He was like a flower in its natural habitat. Grown to fit into his own world and adapted to change, he wasn't the prettiest flower, but he was one regardless, and only you could see his vibrant colors.
