once again while the black misleadership class trots out these tap dancing rappers and singers and other clowns to temper the masses

please don’t reject care and compassion because you feel like you don’t deserve it. no matter how small your wound is, it is worth being tended to. please don’t let your brain tell you otherwise. you deserve love and care.

Practice not comparing your path to others; focusing on your own path; being thankful for the opportunity you have to shape and create your life. There's so much beauty in that, and it just gets drowned instantly the millisecond you start comparing your life to someone else's.
