Hello tumblr - I am so sorry I haven’t spoke to you in a while. I finished my masters last week and it is all just sinking in. My hope is that I can find a job soon so I can figure out how the rest of my life will fall into place - I have no idea where I will be living by 2016 and it’s very scary for me! Whatever happens, I am committing myself to continuing botanical art and illustration in my spare time. This year has shown me how important it is for me to keep creating, and I want to take myself and my work much more seriously. Once I am settled, I want to get back onto my social media full-force. I also have noticed that there aren’t many botanical art videos on youtube... so I am considering starting a vlog that follows my work as it develops and shares techniques as I learn them....maybe also to talk about my massive botanical art book collection. Does that sound interesting to anyone at all? I’ve always wished there were more botanical artists on youtube - who’s with me?!

Thanks for sticking around while I fell off the face of the earth this past year! PS: I just finished a big commission - but I can’t post it until November!! Can’t wait to share it with everyone... but until then I need to make some new art!
