I also think that his advances were originally harmless, and he was being as charming as he could. Simply because he’s the “villain”, people automatically dislike him. Yes, he was a bit of a jerk. Only after belle humiliated him did he become terrible. But I like to think that perhaps there was deeper motive behind his pursuit of her that his tactless and forward manners overpowered. – I think that Belle was indeed judgmental and should have given him a chance.”
