‘  LISTEN  T’  ME  HERSHAL------  ‘       his  head  tilted,  gently.  he  really  didn’t  want  to  be  giving  him  this  TALK.  and  now  he  knew  how  his  DAD  must’ve  felt.      ‘  YOU  ARE  NOT  SAFE.  ‘      every  word  of  it  still  lived  in  his  head.  sometimes;  he  couldn’t  sleep  because  of  it.  he  wanted  to  be  telling  Hershel  he  could  be  safe,  he  could  be  FREE  and  not  care  about  a  thing.  that’s  what  Maggie  wanted.   but  it  was  a  LIE.   sure,  Walkers  came  more  rarely  now.  but  groups  had  grown  bigger,  stronger,  different  camps  &  forming  states  vying  for  power.    &  RARER  walkers  meant  you  got  less  practise,  anyway.

‘  I  DON’T  NEED  ANY.   I  CAN  DO  IT.  ‘      words of  STUBBURN  YOUTH  only;  not  much  practicality.  but  he  was determined  to  make  it  work,  to  start  a  FIRE  with  the  wood  they’d  found;  despite  the  fact  it  was  mostly  damp  &  ROTTING——      (   like  the  rest  of  the  world.   )      he’d  been  trying  for  twenty  minutes  all  ready  &  Carl  would  continue;  until  his  hands  were  calloused  &  aching  from  FRICTION  BURNS.    after  a  moment,  he  dropped  the  wood,  sighing  in  frustration. 

“ COUPONS. ” he tells him proudly

Negan looked down at the object in hand, a thick book loaded up with coupons for every which restaurant Carl could hope for. He knew it was a rather odd going away gift, but it wasn’t the only thing he had planned. “ Ya know, so you’re not stuck on microwave noodles and McDonald’s every day. There’s-” he opens it up to flip through, and starts naming the numerous places. “Smoothies and groceries- some food joints, pizza places.. All that.” 

He tucks it in the bag he had gotten to conceal it and then looks to Carl with a grin as if he had put an awful lot of thought into that damn coupon book. The question draws brows up and his chin tucks to his neck as he looks at Carl, only slightly offended. “ Yeah I went to college. What’s that s’pose t’mean? ”

‘  IT’S  S’POSED  TO  MEAN  THAT  I  THOUGHT  YOU’D  GIVE  ME  ALL  YOUR  USUAL  SHIT.      y’know,  college  stories?   about  how  you  had  fifty   girlfriends  &  experimented  &---    uh.  all  that  other  stuff?    people  say  to  do  in  COLLEGE...  ‘  

‘  YOU  THINK  ALL  THIS  IS  OKAY?  ‘      it  wasn’t  quite  the  question  he  was  asking.   he  all  ready  knew  the  answer  to  that.   but  as  he  stood  in  front  of  her,  shirt  BLOODIED  with  blood  that  was  not  his  own;  likely  Michonne’s,  maybe  his  dad’s,  he  had  little  time  for  PLAYING  GAMES.  he  liked  her.  he  really  did.  but  this  was  WAR  now.      ‘  you’re  staying  with  HIM?  ‘

HE  STEPPED  ON  A  FLOORBOARD  THAT  SENT  A  CREEK  UP  THROUGH  THE  HOUSE.     &  he  swore;  under  his  breath.  he  shudda’  known  better  by  now.     WELL,  SHIT.    that  was  his  cover  blown.  so  all  pretense  was  thrown  out  the  window.  instead,  the  boy  raised  up  the  RIFLE  and  turned  into  the  room------    expecting  to  find  some  SAVIOUR  rummaging  for  what  they  thought  was  theirs;  or  perhaps  a  rogue  WALKER. 

HIS  HEART  FELL  &  RAPIDLY  ROSE  AGAIN  AT  THE  SIGHT  HE  SAW.      neither  a  rogue  nor  a  monster.   well;  not  to  him.    ‘  SHIT,  REL!  ‘      he  dropped  the  rifle,  letting  it  hang  limp  in  his  grasp.    ‘  i  thought  you  were...  someone  else.  ‘

HE  WAS  SCEPTICAL.  BUT  HE  MANAGED  AN  UNSURE  SMILE.      ‘  what  the  HELL  is  that?  ‘      Carl  asked,  inclining  his  chin  upwards.    ‘  did  you  ever  go  to  COLLEGE?  ‘      it  wasn’t  a  jab;  he  was  GENUINELY  curious. 

HOLY  WHAO  HELL  I  LIVE!!      i  don’t  have  a  theme  yet.  but  i  am  hoping  for  one  soon  so  in  the  mean  time  i  will  be  here  &  ready  &  willing  to  rp  or  plot  or  whatever  you  guys  want.
