Bonus Trick or Treat!!
We have a belated submission!! Thanks for willowolven for stepping up when we needed an extra gift :)
This one is for mikaelshake.
****Warnings: dark themes, (borderline) non-con, implied smut, and mild swearing.****
Klaus hunts Caroline in woods bc Caroline is a vampire hunter who pretended to be in love with Klaus in order to kill him. He finds out and sentences her to an eternity of torture.
"Caroline Forbes," his smile was wicked and she hated it. "Guilty."
He really was a dramatic; holding a court session to prove that she was a traitor. With a vampire on either side, she was pulled back roughly. She could have escaped, the vampires hold was weak and she could easily overpower them; she could easily leave. Caroline had the warm blood of a Hunter pumping through her veins.
But he was playing her. If she left now, it was game over.
Klaus knows this, and he jumps down from his perch on his faux thrown all those feet above the rest of the court. He wasn’t judge.
Btw, thank you guys so much for doing this! It was so much fun!
You're so welcome! It was fun to do! We had the best time! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Back to Yesterday
A Halloween Drabble for sheisquitelovely
♡♡♡♡♡
“I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.”
♡♡♡♡♡
Klaus threw back the last of the bourbon in his glass and snapped his fingers at the waitress he’d compelled earlier in the evening, summoning her to his side.
“More spirits, sir?” she asked, taking his glass in her hands and waiting expectantly for his answer.
“No,” he replied gruffly, shifting in his chair.
“Another drink then, sir?” she added, sweeping her long mahogany locks to the side and offering up her neck with the tilt of her head, multiple bite marks trailing along her skin and indicating the location of her jugular.
“No, now leave me...” Klaus barked, catching her eye and letting his pupils dilate to reinforce his command and the girl turned and strode off purposefully with a blank stare.
“Niklaus, you cannot just sit here sulking at your own party.”
“Your party, brother,” Klaus replied, not bothering to look in the direction his older brother’s voice had come from and staring off into the throngs of supernaturals dancing on floor in front of them.
“Pardon me for attempting to lighten the mood after all the trouble we’ve been through as of late...” Elijah replied, sniffing and straightening his perfectly knotted tie.
“Don’t you have a postpartum hybrid to attend to?” Klaus added gruffly and he could heard Elijah sigh.
“You know I’d actually been under the impression that new life would’ve been just what this family had needed: a fresh start, a ‘do-over’ as they say. I should’ve known you were the same self-loathing, sorry sod you’ve always been.” The eldest Mikaelson swept past his brother and made his way through the throngs of supernatural party-goers to make his rounds as host as Klaus huffed after him.
“I wasn’t a sod with...” Klaus began to think to himself, but the moment that golden hair, radiant azure eyes and dazzling smile came to mind, he pushed the memories back into the furthest reaches of his mind. He always found that easiest, pushing away feelings and memories; although he couldn’t help the few lonely nights his mind had wandered, remembering a certain encounter in the woods. And just as Klaus was ready to “sulk off,” as his brother would say, to his study to be alone, he saw her.
♡♡♡♡♡
“How long is forever?” Alice asked.
“Sometimes, just one second,” the White Rabbit said.
♡♡♡♡♡
Golden hair pinned up into an elegant twist with two strands framing her face in soft waves, radiant azure eyes dancing under artful, long lashes and a dazzling smile between two lips painted blood red. Her head was thrown back in a laugh, her graceful, exposed neck captivating his gaze and he raked her form, her choice of attire leaving little to the imagination. Her outfit was appropriate enough for the semi-formal party his elder brother had assembled, but the expanse of skin she displayed with her small black silk bustier top triggered his memories of her in the woods that day.
He rose and made his way to her, drawn like a moth to a flame, but the crowd parted and he slowly came to a stop in front of her. Her attention wasn’t distracted from the men surrounding her that had been captivated just as Klaus had, their faces never straying from the gorgeous blonde’s face.
♡♡♡♡♡
“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”
♡♡♡♡♡
“What are you doing here?” he said, a little harsher than he’d meant to, the jealousy he felt with her being surrounded by other men influencing his delivery.
“Oh, hey there, Klausy,” she said, turning to him for the first time, but Klaus didn’t miss how she avoided looking him directly in the eye before turning back to her captive audience. “I was just telling Benjamin here that the professional wrestler he took down in Ukraine has nothing on that big, scary biker I took down in Atlanta as I made my way down I-85.”
Her casual demeanor and voice shocked Klaus, she spoke to him casually in front of these supernatural beings as if he were just another partygoer and not the most feared and powerful being in the whole of New Orleans. He glanced down at the glass in her hand that she waved emphatically as she continued entertaining the men with stories of her travel to the French Quarter and while he could smell the distinct and strong alcohol from the glass, he smelt something else even more shocking.
“Excuse us just a moment, won’t you, gentlemen?” Klaus said with a slight sneer, the frightfully challenging look in his eye offsetting the pleasantness of his tone, knowing that no one at the party dare cross him---save for one.
He placed his hand at the small of her back and guided her to the edge of the dance floor, her willing and compliant accompaniment not the only thing that shocked him.
“Since when do you openly and unabashedly imbibe in public?”
“Please, I’ve only had three or four,” she scoffed with a roll of her eyes, taking another large sip from her glass.
“I’m talking about the sanguine nature of your drink,” he said, his eyes darkening as he finally succeeded at forcing her eyes to lock with his. She gave him a knowing smirk as she took another, more careful and deliberate sip of her drink, the red tinted liquid lingering on her equally crimson lips. She slowly dragged her pink tongue across her lips, catching any remaining liquid and drinking it in.
“Well I am a vampire,” she purred, her free hand finding its way to his tie and fiddling with it absently, “And I’d be a fool not to imbibe in the more delicious beverages offered at your little All Hallow’s Eve shindig...”
“It’s not mine, it’s Elijah’s,” Klaus clarified, and quickly added, “and you still haven’t answered my question.”
♡♡♡♡♡
“My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place.
And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.”
♡♡♡♡♡
“Mystic Falls has gotten a little too dramatic for my tastes,” she replied, her eyes finally straying from his for the first time and going back to the throngs of beings assembled in the Mikaelson’s ballroom. She slowly moved in place before turning as if she were going to move away from him, “I decided it was time for me to take a much needed and long awaited vacation, and I’ve never been to the French Quarter before, so...”
“Caroline,” Klaus said with his voice raised as he took a firm hold of her arm, keeping her where she was and forcing her to look him in the eye again. She gazed back into his questioning blues before her lips turned up into a graceful albeit devious grin.
“That’s the first time you’ve said my name...”
“Because I’m questioning if I actually know you or not...” Klaus replied, and Caroline gazed back at him, her face revealing no emotion. “The Caroline Forbes that I knew that hailed from Mystic Falls abhorred the notion of consuming blood and would never have openly consumed it in public, especially mixed with hard liquor. The Caroline Forbes I knew felt earth shattering guilt over taking the lives of twelve people, even when it was to save her ‘best friend’ Bonnie so she’d never even dream of killing a biker in cold blood along a highway out in the open--”
“The ‘Caroline Forbes you knew’ had had enough of loss and rejection,” Caroline interrupted Klaus even though she didn’t remove herself from his firm grip. “The ‘Caroline Forbes you knew’ lost her best friend again with no hopes of ever seeing her again what with a crumbling and now nonexistent Other Side. The ‘Caroline Forbes you knew’ lost her other best friend Elena to crippling grief over losing her boyfriend Damon, the sadist that had abused her repeatedly as a human.
The ‘Caroline Forbes you knew’ had had her heart stomped on by someone she’d considered perhaps her closest friend that she’d been there for through thick and thin. The ‘Caroline Forbes you knew’ lost the boy that had been her ‘first love’ as you called him, and the ‘Caroline Forbes you knew’ finally had enough.”
♡♡♡♡♡
“If you don’t know where you are going any road can take you there.”
♡♡♡♡♡
Klaus gazed at her throughout her passionate speech that lacked any real emotion behind the delivery of her words and he realized.
“You’ve switched off your humanity,” he murmured, studying her face and realizing his suspicions had been correct and he cursed himself for not realizing it immediately.
“Yep,” Caroline said, her lips popping on the end of the word as she waved over a waiter that already had a new drink ready for her. “And with that pesky little switch in the off position, I can let my bad girl flag wave, and let me tell you... it tastes so good.”
“But this isn’t you, love...” Klaus began to argue but Caroline laughed him off.
“And knocking up the little neck-breaking, betraying wereslut is so you?” She replied with a quirk of her eyebrow. When Klaus answered her with silence, Caroline continued, “Please, news about your ‘magical, miracle baby’ reached even Mystic Falls. Just one more thing to add to my list of things that are the bane of my existence. But who cares? It’s not like you were cheating on me. We’ve never really been together...” Caroline carefully maneuvered out of his grip and strolled casually through the ballroom, knowing he’d follow her. “Although it was kinda funny that you had no problem keeping that info from me and screwing me in the woods...”
“I never meant to hurt you, Caroline, you must know that...”
“Oh I know. Once you bite a girl and let her knock on death’s door before you save her and assure her that ‘you’ll never hurt her’ again, there’s little you can do to hurt her...” She replied nonchalantly. “So like I said, ‘Who cares?’”
“I do. I care. I always have, you know that, Caroline,” Klaus said forcefully. “I cared enough to leave and never come back, just as I promised I would, as you made me promise I would.” She shocked him again for the millionth time with a wry laugh.
“Figures every guy I ask to stay leaves, and the only one to follow my instructions is the one I order to leave..” she laughed to herself before pausing and turning back to Klaus. ”Well c'est la vie, or whatever the phrase is. I’ve been the good little baby vampire for too long and now I’m ready to have some fun. At least I wore a costume... who doesn’t wear a costume to their own party?” she added, tugging on Klaus’s lapel teasingly.
“Again, not my party, sweetheart,” Klaus couldn’t help but smirk as he looked away, glancing around at the other party goers and taking in their obvious yet elegant accessories that informed as to what they were dressing up as for the party. He brought his gaze back to hers, his eyes trailing up from her black Louboutins, all the way up her long legs encased in black stockings, her pencil skirt and black bustier that made her decolletage more bewitching than it had ever been. A cluster necklace of multi-stranded pearls hung around her neck and rested atop her bosom, a matching bracelet on the wrist closest to the glass of spirits and blood. “What are you supposed to be?”
“The Queen of Hearts...” she replied with a smile before jabbing a finger towards the top of her head where a small gold crown rested. “Duh!”
“I see,” Klaus chuckled, his dimples showing as he finally made the connection between her pencil skirt with red hearts and her crown. “Ever the clever Caroline I once knew. Rip any hearts out yet, your Majesty?”
“Not yet,” she murmured, her eyes travelling back out to the dance floor as she nonchalantly added, “I was hoping somebody’d rip my clothes off before I’d rip out some hearts.” Her eyes flitted back to his, her grin telling as she watched his become dark and carnal.
♡♡♡♡♡
“I can't explain myself, I'm afraid, sir,” said Alice, “Because I'm not myself you see.”
♡♡♡♡♡
“Not like this, love,” he murmured under his voice, making sure it only carried as far as the flaxen temptress before him.
“What? Because my I’ve flipped the switch?” She asked, her eyes searching his, before she smiled at him deviously. “Don’t think of it like I’ve switched off my humanity; think of it as me finally and wholeheartedly embracing--oh what was it you called it? Oh yeah--the ‘allure of darkness’...” Klaus remained silent and stock still, refusing to encourage Caroline’s cajoling; that is, until she closed the distance between them, her lower abdomen lightly but purposefully grazing his groin, eliciting a guttural growl from the thousand year old hybrid.
“Caroline,” he said, her name a warning on his lips, but Caroline removed one finger from around her glass and pressed it to his lips, the damp condensation from the glass wetting his lips. Her eyes were locked on his as she leaned in closer.
“Just a few pieces of fabric and then I’ll just be in my stockings...” She whispered, her free hand trailing down from his tie down his torso and to his pressed trousers, “...and nothing else.”
♡♡♡♡♡
“In another moment down went Alice after it,
never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.”
♡♡♡♡♡
Hands grabbing, voices moaning, breaths gasping. It had all become a blur to Klaus and if he’d found Caroline intoxicating that day in the woods, she was irresistible now.
Either he had dragged her away from the party or she’d pushed him out of the party―although there was the very strong and likely chance that both had taken place. It was moot point as Klaus’s jacket, shirt and tie were discarded on the floor of the library, as was Caroline’s shredded silk bustier.
He kissed her soundly as his hands palmed her breasts, Caroline moaning wantonly as his rough artist’s hands swept over her soft, sensitive skin. Her hands went to make quick work of her skirt, but with the creak from an adjacent room, Klaus decided that he was unwilling to share his blonde goddess with anyone else’s prying eyes and he grabbed her into his arms and sped them away.
Caroline had been too consumed with practically biting off Klaus’s ear to notice their location change, but once Klaus had set her down, she opened her eyes and got her bearings down. They were in some sort of private study, the only books in it all historical texts or about the great artists of the world over, and various sketchpads and charcoal on tables around the room.
“This is your study?” Caroline asked, turning back to Klaus, her chest heaving as she caught her breath, and Klaus nodded, his hands ghosting along her torso as he drank in the sight of her breasts. She turned away from him and casually sauntered over to a small mahogany table that held a few crystal glasses and a decanter of brandy in it, shadows dancing along her form from the low lit gaslights and fireplace.
“The artist’s fortress of solitude...” she murmured more to herself as she opened the decanter, poured herself a drink and took a sip of the aged liquor. “The man leaves Mystic Falls to come to New Orleans with his family and he locks himself away in dark room to be by himself, nothing but his memories to keep him company...”
♡♡♡♡♡
“It was much pleasanter at home," thought poor Alice.
"I almost wish I hadn't gone down the rabbit-hole--and yet--and yet...”
♡♡♡♡♡
She gasped as Klaus’s arms wrapped themselves around her torso, his skin sliding along hers and teasing her as his lips met her ear.
“Not all the memories are lonesome...” He murmured, one hand slowly moving to titillate her breast as the other slowly made its way down to the side zipper of her heart pencil skirt. “One memory has been haunting me the most, of a clandestine meeting in the woods with an exquisite young woman, her beauty unsurpassed by any being I’ve ever known with an equally unsurpassed voracity...”
Once the zipper stopped, the skirt pooled around her feet and she realized that he was equally bare as she felt his hardness press against her lower back. “Her eyes danced around my face before she leaned in and pressed her lips to mine, and once I saw her jubilant, and welcoming smile, I had her against a tree and her hands rid me of my clothes nearly as fast as mine rid her of hers.”
“And then you took her?” Caroline gasped, her hand falling and placing her glass back on the table before she pushed back so that her body was flush against his, her bottom pressing against his hardened cock, and Klaus took hold of her hips and with one quick motion, entered her.
“And then I took her,” he replied, his fingers digging into the soft skin of her hips as Caroline moaned, her back arching as he filled her and she accustomed herself to his size within her.
“Was it fast?” Caroline breathed, her hands gripping the table as she rolled her hips against his, urging him on and Klaus held fast to her hips and began to move in and out of her in a steady rhythm.
“The first time it was. She wrapped her legs around me and I drove into her hard and fast, her bare back scraping against the rough tree bark,” Klaus growled, the back in question arching in front of him erotically as its owner held fast to the side table. “I remember the way her breath sounded, catching in her throat as I buried myself deep inside her over and over and over again. The way her wild, sunkissed locks flew freely around her face.”
Caroline felt her hair suddenly fall around her back and shoulders as Klaus freed it from her perfectly pinned coif and soon his fingers were knotted in her wavy hair as he continued his nostalgic monologue.
“I wanted to bury my hands in that lustrous mane of hers that always smelled of sunshine and goodness, but I was too afraid she’d run away from me as she always did; so I kept her there, pinned to the tree, and had my way with her, my manhood reaching the furthest depths of her over and over again..”
Caroline moaned both at the memory he was recounting and the feeling of Klaus driving into her again and again while his hand gently but securely knotted in her now wild mane, pulling her back towards him over and over until she came undone against him. As the waves of pleasure washed over her, her body fell lower and lower, her head nearly resting on her hand against the table, and Klaus took the opportunity slide his hands down her stocking encased legs and hoist her up.
He sped them over to the lounge sofa where he spun her around and pressed himself into her again, but she took him by surprise with a sudden burst of energy and flipped them so that she was on top. She surprised him yet again by twisting in his arms and impaling herself on him again with him seated, her hands out and holding onto whatever part of the furniture she could for leverage. She towered over him a bit, still wearing her sky high Louboutins, but Klaus dare not ask her to remove them and lose the sight of her sexy calves flexing as she rose and fell over top of him again and again.
He leaned in an attempt to see her face, but each time Caroline would turn her face away although her pace never faltered. He realized she was intentionally keeping her face from his but the feeling of her silky warmth around him kept him where he was and had him hold fast to her delicious curves as she moved atop him. Once he himself felt close, he wrapped his hand around her hip to seek out her bundle of nerves, and with a few quick caresses, she fell just as he did, her warm core tightening around him and milking his own release from him.
She eventually slowed to a stop and sat astride him, her hands resting on his knees and leaning forward as she caught her breath. She smirked as she felt his hands and lips ghosting up her bare back, a light sheen of sweat covering both of them from their romp. He pulled her back against him to press kisses to the base of her neck and soon they were horizontal as he spooned her, a thin throw blanket covering them partially. Klaus continued to recount his memories of their past encounters, both erotic and innocent, as they lay together gazing at the crackling logs in the restored fireplace. Caroline, however, remained silent, her gaze never leaving the embers as her eyes slowly slid closed and sleep overcame her.
♡♡♡♡♡
“If you drink much from a bottle marked 'poison' it is certain to disagree with you sooner or later.”
♡♡♡♡♡
Sunlight streaming in through the lone window in the room danced across Caroline’s eyelids and woke her that morning, her brow furrowing as she regained consciousness from the sound, dreamless sleep that had consumed her. She sat up slowly, both the blanket and arm that had been draped across her torso falling away as she yawned and stretched, the form behind her still fast asleep on the couch.
She crossed to the opposite side of the room and retrieved her skirt, pulling it up and zipping the side up again. She glanced around and grabbed a sweater that was draped over the back of a chair at a desk along the wall, both her and Klaus’s shirts somewhere in the library downstairs. She pushed her arms through the sleeves and wrapped it around her body, Klaus’s scent lightly tickling her senses and she padded out of the study in her stocking feet. She snorted, recognizing in herself how she normally would’ve felt some sort of girly sense of excitement, wearing the clothing of the man she just bedded, but didn’t feel a thing. Turning off her humanity had been unbelievably liberating, but it had also felt unexpectedly empty.
♡♡♡♡♡
““I have seen so many extraordinary things, nothing seems extraordinary anymore.”
♡♡♡♡♡
She peeked her head out of the study door into the hallway, and when she focused and used her heightened hearing to confirm the coast was clear, she strolled out and began meandering about, curious to see what she could find without Klaus’s direction. A few empty rooms, some with Klaus’s scent, some with Elijah’s and some with the Wereslut’s, and finally the door at the end of the hallway was before Caroline and the knob was twisting in her hand. She took two steps in and froze at what lay within; her.
Her face reflected back at her in a myriad different mediums from oils to watercolors to charcoal sketches. Her at school, her at the Mikaelson’s ball, her at the Decade Dance, her in her prom dress, her at graduation in her cap and gown, her in the woods that day and her in a thousand other imagined scenarios. She wandered around the room, her hands tucked underneath her arms and buried in Klaus’s sweater, and she kept herself from lingering too long at any one piece for fear of past memories and feelings overwhelming her. She’d resolved herself to leave and pretend that she hadn’t seen Klaus’s “Caroline room,” but as she turned, something caught her eye and stopped her dead in her tracks.
“Impossible,” she whispered as she tentatively approached one small sketch, one she’d never thought she’d see again. The piece of parchment was mounted onto a black matte backing that rested on top of the frame that it was no doubt meant to live within, and her fingers traced the fine lines that were barely visible. To the naked eye, most likely a human eye, the picture looked whole and pristine; but to Caroline’s eye with her superhuman sight and distinct memory of what it had looked like once she’d destroyed it, she could see the faint lines of where the parchment had been cut but pieced back together and glued carefully to fuse the parchment together again.
“You can thank the great Katerina Petrova,” Klaus’s voice suddenly came from behind her, but Caroline neither turned towards him nor did she acknowledge his presence. “Her parting gift to me, to remind me that everyone who knew me hated me. I’ll admit, I was a little puzzled when I received the envelope from her, and even more shocked once I saw it’s contents. How did she get the drawing I gave you? Why did she destroy it? But I realized if she had destroyed it, she would’ve sent me the ashes. Katerina always had a flair for the dramatic and fire is far more final than a man-made machine tearing it apart into the finest of pieces.
But that’s when I realized that had been your intention all along: to destroy, not obliterate. If you were gone, you would’ve burned it to a crisp and eliminated any trace of its existence. But you were hurt...” Klaus saw Caroline twitch slightly at the word, but he continued his slow advance towards her.
♡♡♡♡♡
“You're not the same as you were before," he said.
“You were much more... muchier... you've lost your muchness.”
♡♡♡♡♡
“I knew, just like I did that day in the woods, that you do what you want and when you want. I gave you an ultimatum but that gave you the ability to act on what you’d always wanted to do. So I had to fix your picture... You’d come for it when you wanted it... When you wanted me.”
Klaus paused, less than a foot away from her, and waited for her to respond. They stood in silence and Klaus resisted the urge he had to hold her or turn her around and demand some sort of response. Just when he thought he was going to be driven mad by her silence and was ready to grab her, he heard the choked sob. Caroline’s stiff form suddenly turned to face him and Klaus saw her already sleep smudged make up running down her face. Her eyes were still averted from his, but eventually her emotional, tearfilled eyes met his.
“Klaus...” she sobbed, her voice shaking and full of sorrow. Klaus rushed to her, taking her face in his hands and pressing his forehead to hers. Caroline’s hands flew to cover his as she continued to sob, her eyes tightly pressed together.
“I’m here, love. Whatever you want, whatever you need,” he cooed soothingly as he rubbed his thumbs against her cheeks. Her response nearly elicited a sob from Klaus himself.
“Just you.”

Happy Halloween, sheisquitelovely!
Hopefully you liked your Klaroline treat!

It All Comes to Love
Georgia shook her head as she leaned over the bar and looked at the empty tables “Opening this was a bad idea.” She said to herself and turned around to pick up the Tequila bottle, having a bar in New Orleans and being empty since day one required some drinking. As she turned around a man was sitting on one of the stools, she was surprised with his presence that the bottle fell off from her hands. ‘How did he come in without me hearing him?’ For a few seconds they were just staring at each other until she managed to collect her thoughts “I am sorry. You scared me. I didn’t hear you come in.” Klaus looked at the girl and rolled his eyes ‘At least no one will look me here’ he thought “I need a bottle of bourbon. Your best bourbon.” He said keeping his eyes on her. He could hear her fast heartbeat meaning he scared her more than he actually intended to. She kindly smiled to him as she let the bottle and a glass in front of him before walking a bit away, like she would be safer if she just took few steps to her left. He couldn’t help but smile to that reaction as he filled his glass. He needed to stop thinking for a bit.
Every night for a week Klaus spend his nights at the bar drinking nothing else but bourbon. Georgia had to supply some more and as she closed the phone that was the first time she heard him speak something else but his order “It’s my fault you know. I opened myself up to her. I allowed feelings that I didn’t want to have come in. Feelings I didn’t even knew I had. But she” he took a deep breath and smiled to himself “she is an angel. She makes me want to be a better person. Damn it, she actually does it. She does make me a better person. Or a better version of the monster I am.” He finished the bottle he had in his hand and leaned against the bar “I will tell you a little secret. One that no one knows. I love her. I am madly in love with her.” He laughed and shrugged. “I don’t care that you know it. I love Caroline Forbes and I want to be with her every second of my life.” Georgia was left speechless. She just kept looking in his eyes that seemed to hold his pain, but something that drinking could do was let out everything you tried to keep hidden. “And I lost my chance.” He said as he left some money on the bar.” She-she doesn’t want me. She was clear.” For a few seconds he stood there looking at the wood and Georgia ached to tell him what she knew. She wasn’t the person who believed in faith and stuff like that but this was beyond her. Klaus lifted his eyes interrupting his thoughts “You will not remember a word of hat I said tonight.” He said and walked away. Georgia couldn’t help but smile “I wish he would ask if I was on vervain before he got in the trouble to try to compel me.” She said to herself as she started turning off the lights to head home.
Even though she wasn’t the one doing all the drinking the night before, Georgia’s head felt heavy. She got up from the bed and took a quick shower hoping it would help her but it didn’t do much. As she was drinking coffee and going through the bills her phone rang, a huge smile formed on her lips as she saw who was calling. “You have got to be kidding me.” She said and hit the answer button “Caroline Forbes, how long has it been.” She listened to her friend sobbing about losing her best friend and having issues returning back home. “I don’t want to go to my father’s house, Georgia. I just can’t. Not yet. I sent my mother her to be safe. So, I kind of want a favor.” Georgia smiled and didn’t even let her finish her sentence “I will text you the address and you can stay for as long as you want. New Orleans is waiting for you, Caroline.” She said and ended the call before Caroline had the time to say anything else. She checked the time and it was just about enough to prepare things. She already had a big plan in mind. ‘People who love each other shouldn’t be apart.’ She thought on her way out hoping that Klaus would believe that she was compelled to forget about the night before and he would show up again tonight.
As the door opened Georgia couldn’t help but smile, she had learned to listen and damn it he was accurate. Every night at 10 o’clock Klaus would open the door and walk in, sit at the end of the bar and order a bottle of her finest bourbon. “So predictable.” She said and left the bottle on the bar. “Are you having a concert or something?” he asked pointing at the stage where a whole Karaoke system was set up “No, just a Karaoke night. Tomorrow.” She gave him one of the fliers “Great prizes for the winners.” He looked at her and laughed “Do I look like someone who sings?” he let the paper on the counter and filled his glass with bourbon “No, you don’t.” she said and pushed the paper in front of him again “But you seem like someone who needs to get away for a little bit. Have fun and meet people. Trust me.” She said and walked away before he had time to complain. As she checked her phone and read the message from Caroline. She had arrived to New Orleans and if everything went according to her plan, well let’s just say that two people who looked miserable would be happy again.
Georgia opened her eyes because of the smell “Bacon, eggs and freshly brewed coffee.” She smiled and opened the bedroom door “Caroline Forbes I freaking love you. And if that’s how you plan to wake me up every day then you have to stay with me forever.” Caroline laughed and continued to read the newspaper “I don’t plan to wake you up like that every day. Don’t get used to it.” After a warm shower Georgia was sitting on the breakfast table across from Caroline trying to read the newspaper but Caroline’s eyes felt like burning “Are you trying to burn a whole on my forehead? Because it won’t take much longer.” She joked and looked at her friend “What is bothering you?” Caroline smiled awkwardly and picked her hair up “Nothing is just, this town.” Georgia smiled “Yeah, it’s wonderful isn’t it?” “Yeah, it is. I just don’t understand why you would come here.” Georgia stayed quiet for a minute and finally she smiled to her friend. She knew him well and what bothered her was not the city but something else. Or someone else. “It’s an amazing town. The history, the people. The Bourbon street.” She smiled as she was talking for one of the most beautiful towns in the world. “Just wait to see what the town has to offer. You won’t be disappointed.” Georgia winked and Caroline frowned thinking if her friend knew more than she said. A few hours later Georgia was out shopping and Caroline was preparing the bar, and of course Georgia couldn’t help but walk by the compound that the vampires lived. She made sure that there was a poster reminding Klaus about tonight’s event. That moment Elijah walked out, all suited up and classy “May I ask you what you are doing here?” he said without looking at her. And that gave Georgia the opportunity to check him out, she was a single woman in a town full of beautiful people and she had no time to flirt so no one could blame her for taking her moment. Elijah finally looked at her waking her up from her sort daydream “I own a bar and we are having a karaoke night tonight so I am putting up some posters so people could come.” She picked one of the papers on her hand and gave it to him “You should come. Let go of your problems for a bit and just have fun.” She smiled and walked away letting Elijah reading the paper “Have fun. Let go of my problems.” He mumbled and folded the paper putting it in his pocket the moment Klaus appeared “Come on brother. We have some family business to take care.” He looked at the poster and rolled his eyes “This karaoke night is already haunting me.”
“What the hell?” Georgia said when she got to her bar and Caroline had rearranged everything. “How did you do that in such sort time?” she sat on the bar and looked around, not to complain it did look bigger and better now. “I am a vampire and I needed something to distract myself. We should close and get ready.” Georgia was stunned about how good the place looked that she was left speechless “Yeah, we should.” She managed to say after a while. By eleven the bar was full and Georgia didn’t have time to even look around to see if Klaus was there, Caroline was in the kitchen helping. Georgia stepped aside for a minute letting her barwomen take over and she looked at the people, the songs they were choosing were beyond boring and she needed something to cheer people up or they would all leave sooner or later. At a dark corner of the place Elijah, Hayley and Klaus were sitting and drinking, a lot; Georgia smiled and got to the kitchen finding Caroline finishing washing some glasses “I did it.” She said excited “I didn’t break anything.” Georgia laughed and nodded “I see that. But I need your help out there. The songs are just boring. We need something to live things up. I need you to sing.” Caroline laughed and shook her head “I don’t sing. I – I don’t.” Georgia looked at her friend with puppy eyes knowing that she was unable to resist that “Don’t look at me like that. Don’t.” Caroline sighed and rolled her eyes “Fine. I will sing. Just choose a song.” The two girls walked out of the kitchen and Caroline kept her head low in fear of someone seeing her, she didn’t mind the strangers she just didn’t want people from her past coming around. She got on stage and Georgia introduced her just as the song “Irresistible” started playing on the backround. Caroline looked at her friend surprised and all Georgia could do was smile and sit back waiting for Klaus to realize that the song is truly for him. “You have got to be kidding me.” Hayley said and Klaus and Elijah let their discussion and looked up. Klaus immediately tensed and a smile formed on his lips seeing his Caroline on stage and the song, the song was like a confession for him “She has amazing voice.” Elijah said and Klaus nodded “Yeah, well she is amazing so no surprise there.” Hayley rolled her eyes and took the bottle in her hands drinking from it. When the song was done the whole place cheered for Caroline and she took a small bow before stepping down. “I hate you.” She whispered to her friend before ordering a drink “Well, you are about to hate me more. Hi, Klaus. Glad you came.” She said letting the couple alone.
As the night was giving its place to the day and the bar was emptying Georgia managed to find some time to check on them. Caroline and Klaus were sitting closer to each other, still talking and from what she could see her hand was in his and their drinks were untouched. They were lost in each other and that was good. She went to the kitchen to clean the mess and by the time she was done the whole bar was empty except those two still talking to each other “I really hate to do that but I have to. It’s morning. Go buy her some breakfast.” She said and they looked around “Seriously? It’s morning already.” Klaus smiled and nodded “Yeah, time just goes by when you are with great company.” She nodded and got her coat “Georgia, I will..” “You will have fun.” Georgia said “You both need it.” Klaus nodded and walked with Caroline to the door “I promise that I will take good care of her.” Georgia smiled and said she knew that he would and let them go. She got to the window and looked at them as they walked down the street “I told you that this would end up well.” A voice behind her sounded and Georgia nodded “I guess true love does exist.” She turned around looking at Kol sitting on the bar “And you, little witchy, you did a great job. They didn’t even doubt you. You even planted false memories to her head. I have to say that I am impressed.” Georgia narrowed her eyes to him and picked up her bag “I told you that I am good.” She said and they walked out of the bar “Now go, leave me alone.” Kol laughed and looked at her “Oh, you are serious? Oh, come on. That’s not fair. It’s boring to the other side and I need someone to talk.” “Your problem.” Georgia said “You don’t need to be mean. I can give you some privacy and don’t freak you out all the time he laughed “although I did enjoy that time I woke you up screaming.” “I nearly had a heart attack, you idiot.” She complained “Yeah, but it was fun for me. Anyway, we still have Elijah. Now we should find someone classy for him. I don’t like him with that Hayley.” Georgia sighed and looked at him “You’re not going to leave me alone are you?” Kol smiled and shrugged “I think we both know the answer to that question.” “I hate you.” Georgia said and opened the door of her apartment “Privacy needed. Bye.” She closed the door behind her and Kol laughed “I will be here when you wake up.”
Caroline was thankful for the warm coffee and the city was more beautiful than anyone had described “So how do you know Georgia?” Klaus asked and Caroline blinked fast as she was thinking “I-I don’t know.” She said I don’t think I knew her before I came here. “ Klaus’s eyes widened and they both stood up and run to the bar. It was closed and not only that but it was also empty for years. The windows were broken and the dust on the floor indicated that no one had stepped in for a very long time. “Klaus.” Caroline said and she got behind him “What is going on.” “I don’t know.” He wrapped his arm around her shoulder wanting to keep her safe and protected “let’s go home.” He said and she nodded “Don’t worry love. I will keep you safe.” “I am not scared just freaked out.” She looked at him “She did nothing more than bring us together. Make us do what we were afraid to. Get close to each other. Talk and get to know each other. If she wanted to hurt us she had many chances to do so.” Klaus nodded and he smiled as her hand touched his cheek. He had missed that level of intimacy with her. They were so close to each other he could feel her breath against his lips and the whole world stopped, his mind went numb and he felt everything around him no longer matter as her lips touched his. She was his now. She is his one and only. His Queen. His love. His woman. ‘Only mine.’ He thought.

Lines
Caroline liked to use the scalpel. So precise. So easy to slice through human skin, like a hot knife through butter. That clean line drawn into the soft flesh. A clean line Caroline could admire before the blood would bubble up to the surface and mask her work.
And so Caroline would move onto other areas of the body where she could make new lines. Lines she could admire before the blood would come. Before the blood would come and hide her perfectly cut flesh.
She hated it when it was his turn. Klaus didn’t care for the beauty of a clean cut line in a beautiful expanse of untouched skin. He wanted pain. He wanted agony. His hunting knife tearing raggedly through the skin. Leaving jagged gaping lines that would gush blood. Gushing blood that would cover the lines, jagged as they were, within moments, leaving no time for admiration. Because it was obvious he didn’t want to admire his jagged lines. Klaus didn’t see the beauty of cut flesh. He only wanted screams.
Klaus smirked at her when it was his turn to kill. Seeming to relish in her displeasure at his chosen weapon and how he wielded it without an ounce of control or thought.
“This kills you doesn’t it my darling neurotic control freak?” Klaus would taunt. Welding his words with a great deal more precision than his knife.
It was times like these that Caroline contemplated taking her scalpel to Klaus. Perhaps if she cut into his skin he would see the beauty of the cut. The precision that could be admired. A deft flick of the wrist that could neat organized lines. Not to mention make him eat the careless words he dared taunt her with.
Caroline never did though. She knew he would be her ultimate kill. The body she worshiped in bed cut to beautiful clean cut ribbons would be a high she could never reach again. After cutting him to delicious little bits no kill after him would ever be as satisfying. Caroline would never be able to satiate the dark hunger that ate at her if she were to kill her lover.
She knew Klaus felt the same. She would catch him eyeing her flesh as he eyed his victims. Wondering which area of her body that he could plunge his knife into would elicit the loudest scream. What her blood would feel like on his skin. The sound of the serrated knife tearing jaggedly through her skin.
The closest he would ever get to killing her were his paintings. They were all of his kills, cut to pieces, covered in blood, lifeless eyes. Every detail exact save for the fact all the victims in his paintings had Caroline’s face.
Her green eyes bereft of the light that had shone so brightly. Her bright blonde curls saturated in blood and her soft pink lips parted and spittled with blood as she had taken one last breath.
His three grand passions in life as one.

The sex was always rough after Klaus made a kill, fingerprint bruises on her alabaster skin. Love bites scattered across her throat and chest. The soreness between her thighs from his hard thrusts. Pain mingling with pleasure.
She hated the red scratch marks she would leave on his back. The lines her nails had made were not straight. They were scattered hash marks that reflected the painful ecstasy that Klaus brought Caroline to again and again.
The crooked and random markings on Klaus’ back were so shameful to Caroline. She who prided herself on the clean straight line and carefully planned cuts. She could admire Klaus’ lines as jagged as they were, but she held herself up to a higher standard. Her lines needed to be perfect.
Klaus reveled in those marks. The scratches were like a first place ribbon, awarded for making his beautiful Caroline lose the one thing she made a priority to always have a grasp on: control.
Klaus would take every opportunity to walk around without his shirt. Taunting his lover and partner in crime with the marks she had left on his back, get a perverse joy out of the look in her eyes every time she would see the crooked random lines. The shameful reminder of her loss of control.
It was times like these that she wanted to give into the want of slicing him open. Fixing the jagged lines she had made with her scalpel. At night while they were in bed and Klaus was sleeping she would run her finger over his back, imagining clean cut lines over the random fading marks.
Perhaps she would find someone to fuck. Mark him as she had marked her lover and then fix the lines she had made. She felt a slight rush of satisfaction at the idea but then immediately crushed it for the simple fact that she knew she would never willingly make random or crooked lines. Even with the intent to fix them with her scalpel. Not even to slake the thirst that nagged her every time looked at Klaus’ ravaged back.
Maybe she would find someone with scars. Caroline didn’t really enjoy cutting into people with scars, she preferred clean unblemished skin to work with but in light of her current desires a scarred body just might do the trick.
Caroline smiled to herself, pleased with having found a solution to her dilemma. Closing her eyes, falling asleep while fantasizing about her next kill.
Klaroline Halloween
The blonde stood outside the haunted house that she visited over a half a decade ago and crossed her arms over her chest in a nervous manner. It seemed as though the memory of what happened that night was permanently etched in her brain and she couldn't seem to shake it.
At sixteen, Caroline visited the haunted house with her friends, but got lost and wandered in a different direction. Of course, she was afraid when she walked the dark halls and she really did doubt that she would make it out alive, but then she met a man... A man that looked to be in his early twenties.
As the blonde thought back to that day, she felt a shiver run down her spine at the memory.
She walked the halls with her eyes wide and she studied the different paintings hanging on the walls. For a haunted house, she could tell that somebody kept it clean, but she couldn't for the life of her understand why.
After all, why would somebody keep a house that was abandoned clean?
With a shake of her head, Caroline stopped in front of a painting that seemed to be a family portrait.
There were about eight people in the portrait and they all seemed to resemble one another because of their dark hair and dark eyes, but then she noticed a man and a young woman. Both of them had blonde hair and blue eyes and they seemed to be quiet close.
The faces in the portrait weren't exactly clear, but it wasn't so hard to make them out.
As she crossed her arms over her chest, she felt a shiver run down her spine because she suddenly felt a breeze from behind her.
Her breath caught in her throat and her jaw dropped slightly as her hands clenched into fists and she turned around to see that there was nobody behind her.
With a sigh of relief, she looked back at the family portrait and smiled because for as long as she could remember, she always did want to have a big family, but that couldn't be the case... Not since her parents both died in a car accident when she was six.
As the memory of that terrible night washed over her like a tidal wave, she felt her throat constrict because even though she was young, she still remembered everything that happened that rainy night.
She felt herself tremble and she crumpled to the floor and began to weep for those that she lost because she couldn't seem to hold it in and being in a dark corridor with no light and no sound seemed to only heighten those senses of hers.
She put her face in her hands and shook her head as she felt the salty tears run down her face.
"Are you lost?" An unfamiliar voice questioned and immediately she straightened up and looked at the intruder.
Her eyes widened when she realized that the man that stood in front of her was the man that she saw in the portrait.
"Am I seeing things?" She asked him as she slowly stood up and backed up all the way against the wall.
"I don't know, love." He told her. "Are you?"
"You-- you are the one from the portrait."
"That is correct," he nodded as he motioned towards it.
"How is that so? It says that the portrait was taken in 1813."
"This is true," he told her as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Now tell me, love... Are you lost?"
"No," she lied.
"I believe you are." He said as a small smile began to play on his lips.
Caroline's cheeks reddened as she took in his appearance. The man that stood before her looked a lot more handsome than he did in the portrait... Perhaps that was the case, because his hair was shorter and his eyes were brighter. He stood tall and she assumed that he was just below six feet, but his demeanor seemed to command power. He had stormy blue-gray eyes and dirty blonde hair that curled at the nape of his neck.
"Shall I ask you again if you are lost...?" He questioned as he placed his index finger under his chin.
"Okay, fine." She sighed heavily. "I'm lost."
"Ah," he smiled as his dimples showed. "That wasn't so hard now was it?"
"I guess not." She hissed, the annoyance evident in her voice.
"Woah there, sweetheart! No need to act so hostile."
"Are you going to show me the way out or what?" She questioned.
"I will, but first I want your name-- your full name."
"Why?" She asked as her eyes narrowed in confusion.
"Just out of curiosity." He shrugged as if it was nothing.
"If I do, will you help me?"
"I am a man of my word, darling, so yes-- I will."
"Fine," she told him. "My name is Caroline Angelica Forbes."
"Angel, indeed." He smiled as he outstretched his hand for her to take.
Caroline looked at his hand in an unsure manner, but put her smaller hand into his larger one.
"You do know that wandering off isn't always the greatest idea, yes?"
"Yes," she told him as she rolled her eyes.
"Well then why did you do it?"
"Honestly, I don't know, but one minute I was with my friends and the next I was in this corridor. I probably spaced out." She told him and then shrugged.
"Probably," he agreed, his voice sounding somewhat distant.
Caroline walked alongside the stranger, but kept somewhat of a distance in case he turned out to be some crazed lunatic and eyed him in her peripheral vision.
She realized that he seemed to be lost in thought and so she decided to follow him silently.
Caroline could hear voices coming from the front and she sighed in relief.
The man stopped and turned to face her with a smile on his lips.
"That sigh of yours leads me to believe that you thought I wasn't going to lead you in the correct direction." He told her with a shake of his head.
"Well, when a stranger offers to take me someplace and he looks just like the man in the portrait, I have a hard time understanding what it is that I should do."
"I don't look like anybody in that portrait." He clarified, but Caroline didn't believe him.
"If you say so," she told him, deciding to let it go. “Anyway, thanks for helping me find my way. Now I will be out of your hair.” She added as she took a step forward, but then he put his hand on her shoulder and she inhaled a sharp breath as she slowly turned around.
“I’m guessing you wanted to say something?” She questioned as she tried to keep her voice even.
“I did,” he nodded, before he looked directly in her eyes.
Before the blonde could stop him, he was speaking to her and about one minute later, she was back with her friends with a confused look on her face.
“Care, where have you been?” Bonnie questioned, the confusion evident in her voice.
“I got lost, but I found my way.” She answered because it seemed like that was what occurred.
“On your own?” Elena chimed in, a small smile on her lips.
“Yeah,” she nodded. “Are we done here yet? I really just want to head over to the grill for a bite.”
“I guess,” they nodded.
As soon as they left the haunted house, Caroline remembered everything that the man in the portrait wanted her to forget.
Present:
Caroline went around back and entered the haunted house through the back entrance. There were no sounds around and she assumed that she was alone as she made her way up the grand staircase.
As she made her way towards the corridor that held the family portrait, she inhaled a sharp breath.
After years of wondering who the man was and why he wanted her to forget what happened that night, she finally gathered enough nerve to return. The blonde knew that there was a good chance that the man no longer resided here, but it was worth a shot.
She touched the man’s face in the portrait gently and a small smile appeared on her lips because she knew that there was something there. Of course, she could have thought up that man to help her find her way back, but for some reason she didn’t really believe that that was the case.
“You have returned.” A voice came from behind her and she yelped as she pivoted. Her eyes were wide and she had her hand over her rapidly beating heart.
When she noticed him, she inhaled a deep breath and knew that she wanted to smile at him, but it was not the time for that.
“You made me forget.” She told him.
“I did make you forget, Caroline.” He responded with a shrug as he crossed his arms over his chest. “But now I want to know how it that you remembered when I made you forget.”
“I do not know.” She told him honestly.
“Are you sure about that?” He wondered. “I mean it has been over half a decade and you have just returned. Did the memory of what I did come back recently?”
“No,” she shook her head. “And I am not going to tell you anything else unless you tell me your name and explain to me why the hell you look just like that man in that family portrait.”
He smirked before he put his hands on her shoulders and pushed her against the wall.
“You are not allowed to ask questions, Caroline. I want to know how you remembered what I did. Surely, you can tell me that without throwing a tantrum.”
Caroline scoffed and shook her head as her bright blue eyes turned a brighter shade of blue as she looked up at him.
“And here I thought you were a gentleman.” She told him, her voice dangerously low.
“I want to know how you remembered, Caroline. Are you going to tell me or do I have to compel the answer out of you?”
“I am not going to tell you anything unless you answer my questions first. You are the one at fault here. Why did you make yourself known all those years ago? I could have found my own way.”
“I ask myself that question everyday and unfortunately, I do not have an answer. For some reason, I had the urge to help you even though you are but a mere mortal.”
“Oh, so are you like immortal or something?” She questioned. “Good, we’re finally getting somewhere.”
“You have a sharp tongue which surprises me.” He told her. “Truly, it does.”
“That’s what happens when I become a cop.” She shrugged as she reached for the pistol in the waistband of her jeans and pressed it against his hip.
“Try and pull the trigger and you’ll be dead before the bullet lodges itself in my body and kills me.”
“So you can be killed then? Very interesting. Very interesting, indeed.” She told him as he heard her take the pistol off safety.
“Do not get any ideas, love.” He warned her. “Kill me and I will be revived in just a minute.”
“That is not possible.” She told him as her eyes widened even though she tried to shield her fear.
“Oh, but it is.” He clarified. “Now, are we going to talk like civil people or are you really that stupid?”
“I’ll think about it.” She told him. “But first, was that whole act a couple of years ago just an act?”
“Maybe,” he nodded and before the blonde could blink he had the gun in his possession.
With a gasp, she tried to push him away, but he was far too strong.
“I can overpower you easily, sweetheart. You can either talk to me and answer my questions or I can kill you and add a new addition to the haunted house that I host annually.. I may just call it the Blonde Reaper or perhaps I can call it Golden Angel.”
“Funny,” she snapped as she tried to push him away yet again and then she remembered what he called her all those years ago when she told him her full name.
“Stop fighting against me, Caroline. Answer my questions and I will let you walk out of here unscathed, but if you don’t start talking within the next five seconds, I will hurt you. I have had enough of this nonsense.”
“If you hurt me, I’ll hurt you back.” She clarified, refusing to step down.
“Do you really think you’ll be able to overpower me?” He questioned, a smug smirk on his lips.
“I do,” she told him as she rubbed against him.
“Wh-- what are you doing?” He questioned as he felt the tightening in his worn out jeans.
“I don’t know… What am I doing?” Caroline asked, her eyes wide and innocent as she continued to shimmy against him.
“You’re trying to seduce me.” He realized.
“Smart immortal,” she smiled.
“It isn’t going to work.” He warned her, his voice serious.
“Are you sure?” She questioned as she slowly ran her finger down his chest.
“Stop,” he ordered, the anger evident in her voice as he grabbed her hands and put them on either side of her head.
“You-- you’re hurting me.” She told him as her voice cracked.
“Don’t touch me.” He ground out, gritting his teeth as he tightened his hold.
“Stop it,” she cried out.
“Answer my bloody question, Caroline Angelica Forbes. I am not going to ask you again.”
“Okay, okay.” She whispered because she knew that there was something seriously wrong with this guy.
“Good,” he said before he let her go.
Caroline exhaled a sigh of relief before he grasped her hand and led her towards his study. Once they were inside, he motioned for her to sit down and then he sat down beside her.
“Tell me how you remembered.”
“That’s the thing, though. I don’t know how I remembered. When you left me with my friends, I was confused because I wasn’t sure what was going on, but right after I left, I remembered everything. The portrait, how you showed up, how you admitted that that was you from the portrait.”
“That’s strange,” he told her.
“I know,” she sighed. “Now that I told you, can I please go? I have somewhere I have to be.”
“I’m afraid I can’t let you go, Caroline. This never happened before and that leads me to believe that you are the only person that can free me from this curse.”
“Curse?” She asked as her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
“I was cursed over a thousand years ago. I was cursed to live forever and every time I got killed, I felt everything only to return to the life of seclusion that I led. My family was taken away from me and I don’t even know where they are buried. You’re the answer to my prayers, Caroline. You can finally free me of this curse of immortality.”
“That’s impossible.” She shook her head. “You’re wrong.”
“No, I’m not. You’re going to be my savior. Thank god for that.”
