sooo i am assuming by that last ask that this event is dead?
well, anon, it had a beautiful run of one year and, between you and me, it was an absolute nightmare. i was supposed to be there as a mod for funs and giggles and ended up writing two pieces on top of mine because people just... didn't do their part.
aside from that, it's been two years and i think i only talk to two of the og mods and i'm definitely the only one who still has access to this blog. not to mention in the time since this event first happened vld crashed and burned and enough time has passed that there are now news of a revival which, for someone who sobbed her way through seasons 7 and 8, is quite terrifying.
so, is the event dead? i don't know. what does dead mean to you? it did what it had to do, everybody published their pieces and they were happy with them as far as i can recall. in that sense, the event will always be alive in our hearts.
is it getting a second run? fuck no. in that sense the event is dead and buried and frankly, good riddance. all we have left is a really stupid mod who decided it'd be a good idea to make this into a sideblog and now can't get rid of it.
i enjoy it, though. it's like being the only person who can access a time capsule. a time capsule to simpler times.
