Except they told Kol they wanted to make a truce and tricked him into their house so that they could kill him well his back was turned knowing it would kill thousands of other vampires. They weren’t the innocent victims, he never would have gotten into the house if they hadn’t tried to trick him, not to mention Kol was right about Silas, and Jeremy wouldn’t be dead if they had just listened to him.
