  On August 9th, 2014 Police officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown an un-armed 18 yr old. This act escalated into what is now known as the "The Ferguson Riots"

Brown was shot six times by officer Wilson outside of an apartment complex while being stopped for jaywalking.

News of the killing engulfed the small community and racial tensions soon escalated into violence, as looters and vandals burnt down properties.

Shorty following days later on Monday August 18, 2014. Peaceful demostrators hit the streets in attempt to diffuse tensions between the community and Missouri State Highway Police.

With a curfew issued by the chief of police, they now await aid from the National Guard. Meanwhile the The Black Panther party mobilize toward Ferguson, MO in attempt to back the community and keep the peace.

President Obama gave a statement stating that Attorney General Eric Holder will go meet with local leaders as well as the FBI and justice officials who are conducting an independent federal Civil Rights investigation.
