This might be a little too personal for a class activity, but I wanted to be honest about something that stuck with me.

When I was in 6th grade, my older classmate made fun of me for being "childish," which back then really hurt me and made me feel like I didn't fit in with the class.

But now, looking back, their comment made absolutely ZERO sense. Why bully a child for acting like a child? Does putting someone else down make you feel superior? You were two years older than me. What the helly do you know about being mature? YOU WERE THIRTEEN FOR GOODNESS SAKE.

(I know that last part’s a bit intense—sorry if it’s too much!)

Anyways, now I'm in college—still liking the same stuff I did back then, and you know what? I couldn't be any prouder. These things bring me genuine joy, so why would I be ashamed? I don't care if I'll get made fun of, at least I'm being true to myself. ✨

I met some really cool people because of it, so yeah! 🫶 BE YOURSELF PEOPLE.
