      oh, & that’s fine. the wocky he’d seen post-not-guilty verdict had very nearly kicked down the door after blinking back tears, shouting through grit teeth at his father, so very angry despite being free. apollo hadn’t expected kindness, not really, but a thank-you-for-defending-me-and-putting-away-my-murderous-fiancéewould’ve been nice. wishful thinking, he guesses. 

        then again, it’s rare things go the way he wants them to. he’s long-since learned to take things in stride. 

        ‘ hi to you too, wocky. ‘ what do you say to an ex-client who hates you? how has freedom been? jesus. trucy was always better with people than he was. 

{🦊}~WITH A SIMPLE glare of disdain, Wocky’s look had stated all that he needed to state about the manner. The pain the young man felt from the arrest of a treacherous fiancée was like he had been shot in the chest -- again -- && APOLLO was the one to blame. Did he understand that her actions were for selfish hubris? Of course. Did he understand he was a pawn in a chess-like ploy? Absolutely. Did he love her?

          WITH A L L HIS HEART. && he guessed he still felt something for her, even after realizing she was NO GOOD for him.

{🦊}~   GRITTED, SHARP TEETH and a low growl were the only ways the male could really respond to the other’s comment as he sat in the chair, breathing heavily. The cloth covering his nose was growing increasingly drenched with red, hinting at just what exactly had happened. A nose bleed – minor, but an annoyance none the less.
