Octo OC August Kit reference X3

I did in fact (sorta) digitise them, but I did it in my older style ^-^

Ok context:

Im thinking in my Octonauts AU, some people are humans, some are anthro, however, they each have separate halves of the globe; Humans live in the Northern hemisphere, anthros in the south; all Northern hem. anthro species like polar bears (ie. Barnacles) have found a way to live in the Southern hemisphere, whether they like it or not; this is the main plot point of the AU, as the Octonauts/carers of the animals and environment want the humans and animals to live together, but the majority of humanity thinks the anthros are literally their wild counterparts and the anthros have decided that humans are always the problem for the environment; anthros have an intense connection to the environment as they have come from the wild and ... for lack of better wording, domesticated themselves over hundreds of years and learned how to become human; there was a time when humans and anthros were together and could live in harmony(ish), but even that wasnt without it's mistrusts and opinions by both sides; also, anthros genetically ans physiologically are considered one species although they have different species within themm... if y'all want me to explain that I can but I aint going any further here XD

(Edit: this is how the Octonauts can (kinda) go without being noticed by the human population, cause they go underwater; yes they humans have tech too but like a giant octopus?? That just seems like something from the deep, dark depths of the ocean to them XD)

Real story now: Aciana, or Ace, was about 12 when she met Rae in school; they quickly became friends as they both loved animals; they have been friends ever since, however, after school ended, Rae went off to study medicine/doctoring and Ace studied to be a veterinary nurse/technician;

Im needing a place to insert Ace's "canon event", so here it is XD

Ace's canon event is that she is taken by the ruling powers in order to become a modified weapon (totally not Wolverine/Bucky Barnes inspired XD) because she holds the power of lycanthropy, or turning into a member of the Lupus genus, whether that be a Border Collie or a werewolf-esk thing

For the Octonauts AU, she finds this lycanthropy power when she is 17; halfway through her vet tech training, (she is 18 by this point) she is taken by the humans as a hostage as they have learned of her lycanthropy (the humans have cameras and surveillance unbeknownst to the anthros everywhere) and decide they want to turn her into a weapon against the anthros in case they ever have a war along with a few other powered anthros; (anthros with powers are much more frequent than humans with powers as the anthros have more genetical differences to be had within their DNA, thus anthros with powers are both a threat and a blessing if in the humans' hands) however, the humans have no idea how anthro biology works so they also take a few newly graduated doctors, hence Rae comes into this; Rae is working for the humans to make sure none of the anthros combust or smthin idk XD

Anyway, Rae does not know who he is checking on as the human scientists don't want the anthros to decide to work together, so he never sees Cae or any of the other's faces, only parts of them; about 8 months into the humans studying and "transforming" Ace, the other few anthros and their abilities, the humans slip and accidentally let Rae hear one of the "participants'" voices, GUESS WHOOOO XD

Rae finds out Ace, his old friend/bestie is being held hostage and being made a weapon (thats a separate relisation thanks to some snooping after he realises Ace is there) and decides to make a plan to escape; Rae had been through doctor's school with Peso, thus he knew that Peso and the Octonauts could help get most, if not all the anthros out, so.. uhhh... yeh they did that XD
