wow, been a good long while since i’ve been on here.

well, i’m not dead! (somehow!) and i’ve been way more active on my multimuse blog. (i’ll most likely be putting this guy on there soon. even if only just for myself, aha.)

“I’ve only been to one for my father’s old military friends. It was definitely not as fancy though.” All of Holly and Baras’s budget went into the booze! “I’m really excited. I haven’t had an excuse to dress up this fancy in a long time.”

Eyes searched his, curious. He seemed a little off.

“Are you okay?”

He hums a short note at the kiss to his cheek, raising the arm that she wasn’t holding to scratch at the opposite side of his face.

Internally, he does as he always has when people show concern for him: Curse the fact that he has never been particularly talented in hiding his emotions.

He wants to tell Apollo to relax, that it’s okay and nobody’s going to just run up and shank him., so stop with the fidgeting already--but he doesn’t, for he recognizes those little tics indicating nervousness.(After all, they are so similar to his own.)

There’s the vague inkling in the back of his mind that tells him the hesitance on Apollo’s part isn’t so much fear as it is uncertainty, and when he realizes as much, Wocky feels a pang of guilt stab deep into his chest.

It’s all my fuckin’ fault, isn’t it?

“Gonna take a lot more than jus’ a bullet an’ a surgery to keep me down.”

Initially, that’s all he can manage to say; If Apollo’s social skills are poor, then Wocky’s aren’t much better. 

Talking with family is vastly different from talking with the lawyer who (essentially) saved your life.

“Don’t do much illegal shit these days, man.” A pause. “Work, mostly. I work a lot. Keeps me busy, and people are real fond of our products, so it’s nice t’ see all’a ‘em look all happy when they come t’ buy stuff.”

His hands on his hips, he frowns, head canting to one side.
