YAAA OF COURSE BABE. it’s just that my new job has taken away my free time and writing mood. i’ve only reserved my energy for the upcoming commissions i’ve taken. hopefully, when i’m done with everything, i’ll feel inspired to continue all my ongoings >_<

EUMMM i don’t know honey. i kinda lost the plot. meaning: i’m not sure whether i’ll be continuing or discontinuing it. i think i’ve said it somewhere that i’m dropping the whole idea of special chapter part 2, but then again i got bad memory and now i’m not sure i ever said that!!

unfortunately i am not!! ugh, i’d love to be one tho. mostly what i wrote in that fic is based on research, me watching videos of ballet on youtube, researching opera websites, reddit, tiktok, n some rants from real ballerina n what’s it’s like for them.

i suck at dancing, every form of dance. i’m more of a music girl, used to play the piano (royal school of music, ABRSM stuff etc. concerts, competitions, you know it) but i quit gahhh cause.. yes, life happens.

[lore drop] piano used to be my WHOLE identity throughout my high school life. so i kinda relate to ballerina reader when she felt this.. suffocating feeling of “i feel like i’m only good at one thing” and therefore, also the need to “i MUST do ANYTHING to keep being good at it cause that’s the only thing that’ll define/identify me”

i also think that many people went through that. dropping a hobby + talent u got because life got in the way, financial problems n free time got in the way etc. cause for me, we gotta sell that old piano i grew up with (literally it was already there before i was born) for living (it was a tough time).

when i did my research, i couldn’t help but admire the people dedicating their lives to the sport, the art, n basically everything about ballet despite the pain, injuries, and the PRESSURE!!
