Sound Walk in Civic Park
Splish, splash, splosh! Constant gush of flowing water, trickling from the fountain to the pool of water siting patiently underneath. The whoosh of the breeze taking your hair on a wild adventure. At the stroke of 4pm the chimes of the Town Hall bell ringing throughout the Civic Park. Ding, Ding, the chime drawing the attention of local passers to wonder their gaze up to the clocks face. Walking through the park you hear the giggles from the young girls as the rustling branch hold firmly as they climb up the magnificent Fig trees. The footsteps of visitors at the park and the laughing of chit chat as they walk pass you. The sudden barking of dogs alerts the audience of local birds flapping and squawking as an unknown animal comes tumbling through. As you pick your pass up to leave for the car you can hear from the street the roaring engines of cars wanting to get home as soon as possible on a Friday afternoon. BEEP, BEEP, a angry car honking his horn as he blazes through the street causing caution to all around.

I thought some might be interested in the photos that I’ve looked at for some of my historical research for my journal that I’ve been working on.

Anzac Walk, a fantastic way for Newcastle to create a popular choice to learn and commemorate our lost soldiers.
A beautiful walk around King Edward Park
