I really loved the way they used torn paper and garbage to play on the classic Japanese ‘cherry blossoms falling = early April = first day of school’ visual scene setting lmao

(This is seriously one of my fave parts. Fujio and Murayama interacting for the first time. Fujio showing his sparkly eyes and Murayama getting to know the hard headed shounen protag Fujio. 😂)
